ok so this was my fourth time doing B-spec on fuji speedway and i finally won...and the game decides to freeze, WTF!!!!! it takes like 54 minutes to finish and then when i won it just gives me the blank gran turismo on the bottom right hand screen, so i let it run hoping it will come back on, but when i come back after a while the ps3 has turned off....im srsly getting pissed off, i even tried disconnecting from the network and still freezes at the end of the race....anyone else experience this?

Are you signed into PSN when racing just B-Spec or A-Spec?
I find that the game can take a little longer to load with some sections of the game. I only sign in if doing online or Seasonal Events.

In all seriousness though, i've never had that happen during anything offline. But after a 50min race it must be bloody annoying. At least it's a B-Spec race though.

Plus, i'm signed in most of the time, without any offline freezing.

yeah i read about that, most of the time i been online cause its automatic sign in, but i signed off and did the race and still after crossing the finish line with the results of the race it just freezes there.

as for cleaning the disc i havent taken it out since putting it in when i got the game, but ill try it to clean it if its dirty at all and try the race again while signed off. any other race im ok but just this damn fuji speedway :grumpy:

You actually have to disable the internet connection in the PS3's settings. GT5 "phones home" regardless of whether you are signed into the PSN or not, so long as it has an internet connection to play with.

i got it guys, i signed off and did some research and disabled my custom music and havent had any issues

No way...so u mean if i can survive the bad musci taste of GT5 me PS doesnt crash anymore? Plz tell me u figured out how to listen to ur music and still have a stable PS...

You do realize there is an option to turn off all music in the game?

If I want to listen to music while playing, I play it from a different source as the PS3 never plays the music at the appropriate volume.
