Hi guys I just wanted to give a shout out to a staggeringly neat game called Limbo. It's out on PSN (EU) today and I can say I will be getting the full game.

The game plays and feels like allot of old school platform games Like Another World, Prince Of Persia and Abe's Odyssey, mix in a little bit of Silent Hill and you have a cool game.

Every bit of the world is fantastic from the colour palette up to the small particle effects for dust and bubbles, it's a true minimalist feast for the eyes. Also I have to point out the subtle soundtrack, the Music is a perfect fit and adds allot to the atmosphere but the sound effects are creepy and really makes you feel your character is alone. I'm only playing using stereo speakers from a TV at the moment but I'm sure it's fantastic in Surround Sound and Headphones.



Turn out the lights and play this game.​
 
I agree, it's a fun game, but seems a little short for £7.99.
 
Actually it's $14.99 unless your a PS plus subscriber then it's $11.99

I only heard about it thanks to Sanity Not Included...in a not so AUP-friendly way...

Rather Lewis Carroll. While being in very pessimistic mood.

Anyway. One of the better games out there. Expensive. But worth the money for sure.
 
It's only just out on PSN?! That sucks, did it really take them all that time to port it? It's well worth a purchase, I've nearly completed it on 360 but the later areas will have you tearing your hair out! Oh, and it's not a good game for people afraid of spiders. :p
 
I bought Limbo day 1 when it hit PSN, I love the Black and white graphics and Limbo has achieved what only Resident Evil has done before......Scare the crap outta me with a surprise spider attack!

It was a timed xbox exclusive, just like braid
 
Going to bump this back to the top.

I've been playing this in short bursts over the last few days and am almost half way through it. Some of the puzzles were hard to figure out but so far I've been able to get through them without looking up the answer on the internet. :p (not possible now anyway)

It's nice when you finally figure out what you're supposed to do and have that "Ohhhhh!" moment. :lol:

I have been eyeing this for a bit now. Prob on my list after I finish up with FROM DUST, BRAID and Ghost Of Sparta........but but but then theres so many games coming vet soon.... arkham city im looking at you!!!!
