I'm 99% sure there is a thread already.

However, the site seems to have a massive blindspot around game day 1000 (in my time). I can search for cars and not really get anything until gameday 2000 or so.

I decided to double check with my current UCD and it seems to be wrong. I'll need to double check next time I'm on.

I thought there was a thread too but when searching I couldn't find anything, that may just be my phone though.

It has worked successfully for me during my use of GT5. Although there may well be blindspots in it, it must be hard to cover it all and kudos to whomever make the site, personally it's been useful

I've found it very helpful too and up until now it has been 100% accurate for me. I've never encountered any blindspots before, but this one seems pretty big, about 1000 game days long. I'm not trying to bash the site, but it would be nice to know that I'm not the only one who seems to have this problem.

This seems to be the last accurate day (I still need to double check in the game)

I would check if I could but I'm on game day of somewhere around 2100 and its not let me down yet, although I didn't check it for long periods of time during playing whilst I was completing b spec so a lot of game days went by and I may have missed this blind spot you have mentioned, I will try and look into it

Just a note, my game day 1000 won't be your game day 1000. Everyone's UCD starts on a different day.

Ahh okays I wasn't sure about that. When I'm on the pc next I will check out your link

The guy whose website it is compiled the list from the UCD lists on this site that Famine posted and I think some other people added information.

@nfscarbon1 ahh okays I was not aware of that

@elite dreamer I believe that is a different thread for discussion more, this thread was just to give people a way of finding the car, although I have put the link in the op of this post in that thread edit: no I hadn't but now I have

I'd like to know when I start typing in the next coloumn it deletes the previous one making it unusable for me.

Following the trail (I knew I had seen something similar to that page before), you'll eventually be lead to the Used Car Database thread, one of the largest in the Q&A section. A few very dedicated members have been trying to map it out for months, but the 1.06 update had erased all their work as the UCD followed a new algorithm, and we haven't found a looping point yet.

That said, this resource is still much more handy than nothing at all!

I tried that site before. Never ever gave me a result.
It took me a while to get my berings on it you have to enter the exact cars and then it comes up with the results bottom left of the screen

Did you select the cars from the drop down list that appears as you enter it? If not this may be why you have struggled to use the site

Ahh thanks SlipZ I thought there would be something around just I couldn't find it last night on my phone

Original thread Here
👍 cheers for that

Got it work, tried it 4 different times on several occasions, and nothing worked. Everytime I returned no results.

As others have said, the database is beige worked on by a few dedicated people. There are a few gaps in places but when you consider that each car has to be entered by hand and then the UCD has to be refreshed, the is quite a lot of work involved. Then factor in that if someone who is adding data actually wants to do a few races/championship/anything else that advances the UCD, if there are more than 5 advances you get a gap in the data.

When you know roughly where you are on the list you can use a new account and that website to give you an idea when certain cars will turn up. It's not an exact science but it's better than relying on pure luck.

That site always lags and gives me an error message when I search for the car I want. 👎
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

If it's laggy then the code the page is running is making your computer slow. Happens to one of my other computers.

The thing is, it is an exact science. Every UCD is the same for everyone in the world, no matter what region. The only variable is where on the list they start and that's where the problem comes in.

If your current UCD returns no results there's two possibilities - you're doing it wrong or your present location in the UCD hasn't been logged yet. If you're sure you're not doing it wrong, then you can help by making a note of what your UCD looks like right now and every day for the next few, submit it to the thread we have for it on this forum and it will be added. Eventually your UCD will overlap with a logged point and you'll have the help you want while helping everyone else at the same time.

I will keep checking mine against it and if I find one that doesn't show anything I will add it to your list 👍

Ah, it stopped being my list quite some time ago, when I realised just how mind-bogglingly long it was and just how little of it I could log myself. It's very much TornadoAlley's list now.

Ahh okays yeah it must be absolutely huge, well I shall add to his list then whenever I come across anything 👍
