Welcome to my spur of the moment idea for a CR-Z Spec series! It's a fun car right? So why not? Everything you need to know to run in the series is below. We are running at a friendly time for everyone from the Pacific US coast, all the way over to Europe! Racing starts on Sunday August 7th, 2011 and the entire championship will consist of 4 races. Your worst finish at the end of the 4-week series will be dropped, so the points championship will consist of just 3 races!

Race Format:
  • Room Opens at 10am PST / 1PM EST
  • 15 Minute open practice
  • 10 minute qualifying session
  • Each race consists of 15 to 20 laps
  • Grid Start = fastest first
  • Pit stop is NOT required
  • Anyone causing trouble will be DQ'd
  • 3 of 4 races count towards championship

I would join. If only I could get to the first two races!!! :grumpy: Holidays and all that. :rolleyes: Plus I'm supposed to be saving up my CR-Z for a fan fic hiring so I should buy a new one but I will have no time for testing at all... :grumpy:

You guys are killing me with these race times!!! I race real cars just about every sunday...1PM Sunday is even worse than the 4:30PM Sunday in the Elise series!!! <sigh>

Yeah sorry, I wanted something early enough to allow the Euro folks to participate. Plus I have a GT1 race later in the day.

Not really keeping track of the wheels colors in the thread, just make sure they fit within the rules. 👍

I hear ya. I'm all about the OEM look myself. :)
 
Just a quick note, that horsepower number might go up a little. My car only has 50 miles on it, so it has yet to fully break in. I'd say we might be around 210 when it does.
 
One more question....."Twin Cities Raceway Park"????? What is that?

And unfortunately only four others. :p You can put me down for now, not sure on color yet.
 
Changed the schedule. London isn't the best track for these cars so I changed it to Deep Forest.
