GT5 Loading issues

Hopefully someone can give me some more tips to fix this loading issue which buggers me since a couple weeks...

  • The GT5 logo after the main intro often hangs. After a few attempts (to quit and start the game) it's continuing to the main options.
  • Within the main options it's almost impossible to choose GT life. When choosing this. the cursor hangs, the background is still (repeatedly) playing but nothing else is happening.

The option menu works without any problems and I already deleted all game data and installed it again. Also tried it without any installation, but that didn't get me any further.

I've to say that I moved recently and it's connected now to a different router. Is this maybe related?

anyone got an idea or experiencing the same issues as me?

There are many threads on this already, you should use search next time!

There's a lot of people having these issues. It probably isn't stuck but you're "too" impatient. If you wait it out after a couple of minutes it will work. Nevertheless it makes playing the game a pain and it seems like this is only happening to people since the 1.10 update. Hopefully a new update will patch it!

I did, but didn't find any players having issues on the exact points as me. Anyway I guess I just have to hang in there (LOL weird choice of words :)) and keep on trying till they fixed this in (hopefully) the next release.

Some people in another thread suggested that deleting the game install and running the game off of the disc works faster so i tried it and it's actually true! It still takes forever to start up, but the ingame features like seasonal events and the garage definately load faster, so yo might want to give that a try. Make sure you save your game save data just to be certain though and take in account that you will lose some (to me unimportant) stuff like your profile pic and some thumbnails (all which can be recreated though).
 
Try re-installing the gamedata, that helped me a lot! 👍
