gauging interest on a Mustang Challenge series.

Cars will be based on the 2011 Mustang Boss 302S.

Still working on the complete specs. This is what I've thought of so far.

1380KG/3100 lbs.
439hp after oil-change and before break-in

All GT Auto will be allowed Wing Type and Front splitter TBD but everyone will run the same.

Weight Reduction stage 3
Carbon hood-installed
Lightweight Windows-installed
Chassis Rigidity-installed
1321KG and add 59KG ballast all at the rear to help with weight distribution and equals 1380KG as is the real production car.

Engine Mods
Engine Stage 1
Tuned ECU
Racing intake
Racing Air Filter
Full Racing Exhaust
Racing Exhaust Manifold
and Racing Cat-Pipe

Fully customizable tranny with gearing set to Boss 302S specs.
1st-3.66
2nd-2.43
3rd-1.69
4th-1.32
5th-1.00
6th-0.65
Final Drive-3.73

Drivetrain Parts
Single plate clutch
Semi-Racing flywheel
Torsen differential if this can be fitted. Torsen diff can't be fitted. I tested with stock diff and it doesn't seem to bad so we'll leave it stock.

Suspension will be Adjustable Sport

Tires will be Racing Hards, tried both Sport Soft and Racing Hard. Just liked the Racing Tires way better, they get rid of some understeer and is still easy to get the rear wheels to break loose.

Room settings
Skid recovery: Off
Active steeering: Off
Driving Line: Off
TCS: Off
ABS:1
ASM: Off
Tire wear & fuel depletion: On
Grip reduction:Real
Penalties: Off (Replays will be reviewed and penalties given based on severity)
Damage: TBD Would like to use Heavy 'cause it keeps people a little cleaner
but will put it too a vote if people want.
Boost: Off

Races will be about 20 to 30 minutes each with a 10 to 15 minute qualifying before the race.

Time & Date TBD
Would like to do this as early on Sunday mornings as possible, like 7AM or 8AM EST time. however open to early mornings during the week between 8AM and 9AM (Except Mondays) and Saturdays 7AM or 8AM. Also could do Fridays early afternoon 12PM or 1PM EST time.

Tracks:
Indy Road course
Leguna Seca
Grand Valley Speedway
Cape Ring North
Trial mountain
Daytona Road course

Might add more tracks later if things get going.

I made a re-creation of the Boss a while ago. Here's my post in the Tuning section:

Yeah, I saw that a while back. This is the Boss 302 "S" factory race car though. Comes with a few more goodies.

Did some updates on the O.P. pertaining to weight reduction and engine tuning. Power comes in at 439hp after oil-change and before break-in. Changes in red.

Come on pepe's I hate to beg but there's really no interest for something like this?

Sorry to hear that dude, not my fault some of us have real lives and families we have to work around. If you had one you might have had something better to do than bash my thread. If your not interested that's fine but there's no reason to bash someone else's idea. I have a significant other and 2 kids that I have to get on and off the buses every day and spend time with on the weekends. On top of that I work the night shift starting 7pm on Sundays and 10pm to who know's when in the morning Monday thru Thursday and sometimes Friday. I'm a devoted Dad trying to do the best for my family, working hard and still spend time with them. I already am running in a series on Saturday nights from time to time so I'm not gonna make mine the same time as that. So what about Friday afternoons or were you too mentally challenged to read the rest of the post before you decided too bash it. Even though it seems like you have no life so you should be able to force your lazy you know what out of bed whenever and just go back to sleep when your fake life on GT5 ends.

I realize these aren't ideal times, just figured that maybe a few people out of thousands might be interested.

Sorry to the mods ahead of time for these comments it's just people like him shouldn't even bother to post!!!

I thought you Tag looked familiar. You started in the FIA GT3 sereies Season2, ran 1 race and never came back. That's funny, why didn't you go back, couldn't hang with the boys or can't race Saturday nights either. So just when can U race? Or is it whenever you can roll out of bed you happen to play.

By the way R1600 Turbo thank you for at least having something constructive to add too the thread, trying to be helpful even if not interested. Spanky should take some lessons from you!!!

You're welcome, however:

1) Triple posting is a HUGE no-no around here. Might want to watch out for that. 👍

2) Just like you, Spank has a family he has to work around (his son) which requires his attention on weekends. That, my friend, is why he quit the GT3 series as it conflicted with having his son (my nephew) over to our place. Anything earlier than 8:00PM Pacific time (little guys bed time) is hard for him to work with.

3) As far as the timing goes, obviously you are in the eastern part of the country so that time works for you, but if you think about everyone west of you, that is really early for them. I find myself setting my alarm clock to get up and run the GT4 Cup series on Saturdays at 8:00am, and that is early for me on weekends. Any earlier is out of the question, unless you're 60+ then 6:00am rising is normal. :dopey:

I tried to be as nice as possible here, so don't take it the wrong way. Attacking someone online is never cool with me, especially if it's my brother. Good luck though.

Thank you Jason.
