Race of Champions - (One-off Tournament for GTPlanet league Champions)

This is not to be mistaken with the American IROC. I'm talking about an event similar to Race of Champions that is held in Europe which
consists of drivers around the world from various racing disciplines such as F1, Rallying, GT Racing, Drifting, NASCAR, Drifting, etc.

CONCEPT
By year's end, we will invite Champions from various Series' inside the Racing Series section.
Two Championships: Individual and Nations Cup. In Nation's Cup, there will be 2 representatives per country.​

TRACKS
Will be user generated to prevent any advantages. Preferably a small track - a complex Tokyo Bay for example.​

CARS
Will vary throughout events. Nothing too powerful.

Just an example, here is what they ran last year:
- Audi R8 LMS
- Porsche 911 GT3 Cup
- Volkswagen Scirocco
- ROC Car
- KTM X-Bow
- FJ-Racecar
- ROC 2-seater
- Solution F Prototype
- RX 150​

Great Idea - Love the Race of Champions.

You should invite those Series Organisers that you know, to advise the winners of each series, to start compiling a list of Names, Country and Racing Series Won

Hey, I run the FGTC. I am responding to your message. Embarassingly enough I won my own series so I guess that makes me a champion. Im in, keep me informed :)
 
Thanks for the invite but I'm not a champion in my series but I will get in touch with our series 1 champ.

My personal willingness will depend mostly on the car pool available.
 
@ Gik69 - that's what i intended when i PMd you guys (race admins) so you could get in touch with the champions.

Also, as stated, i can't manage this due other commitments. I'm just putting out the idea out there for someone to grab.

I dont have time to manage it but as a suggestion you should have a short race using a car from every series represented to find the true champion of champions.
 
Damn, have got 2nd and 3rd in series but not 1st. Ah well.:)

Great idea, I also have no free time to mange this though otherwise I would.
 
Same here we have no time as our series is taking up a lot of time!
 
This seems like a great opportunity for someone new to build there reputation as a race host.

I can help with lots of things, I'm sure plenty others would help aswell 👍
