By next monday, we should all have an X2010, and Im sure a lot of people wont know what to do with it, apart from terrorising online lobbies. I know we already have Nurburgring and TGTT lap time threads, but this is dedicated to X2010 times.
Just post like this: Time/Track/GTP name/ link to replay(not compulsary).
Ill edit this post every day or two with new times.

[*]All laps must be done with all aids off, ABS 1 if you want.

[*]Also specify if it was with a wheel or a controller.

[*]All times should be done in practise mode,red times dont count.

Whats so special about next monday and why will we all have X2010, Have I missed something.
 
If vettel secures the F1 world championship next weekend in japan kaz have promised to give everybody a X1.
 
I think most of the people will do what I did when I got my X1 after winning it from the challenge, leave it in the garage. The last time I used it was probably months ago.
 
Jeeze every kindergarten kid with a x2010 online, oh dear.

I'll start off with Tokyo and Road course Indy.

Can't wait to get home and plug in the wheel! I'm sure my times won't last, but this will be huge fun anyway.

Also, does anybody know how we will have to claim? Will we likely have to logon on the day of the Vettel championship win to be eligible?

They do. PP to 550 or under, which is IMO the most enhoyable class of racing, and there is no way an X2010 can get down there.

Sorry but I race mainly group C or LMP and have a room titled UK ONLY Le-man cars. That does not stop themputting a 1079 bhp doe'nt neither setting pp or weight to suit does'nt stop them or foriengers coming in and recing there bulls. And if your suggesting I only race 550 pp your having a laugh, I race what i decide to race but unfortunately this catargory does bring them in. Being host I can kick them but i spend more time kicking than racing as these people leave car selection to the last second after the countdown has started so some get missed and then destroy any chance of a decent race.
Ypu may say open a private lobby wich I do often but when there are a lack of friends online or very few then open lobbies are used.
so restrictions DO NOT allways work.

Please keep arguments/questions outside this thread. If you don't have a lap time to post, then don't post at all.
 
This is stupid because now everyone will have when when so many of us worked so hard to get at least one nevermind all 3 plus the level 35 bspec one...that's bs make vettells f1 and give us that instead

Then stop racing online. You can't stop people playing a game that they paid for. If they want to race X2010's against LMP's, your problem, not theirs. Although yes, it is annoying when people can't read room names.

I haven't set any times yet worth bragging about (just tried my luck at Nordschleife and got a pitiful ~5.30 - first and so far only attempt, with a couple of minor off road excursions - with a G25 wheel), but man this car is a blast to drive.

I've only just started playing GT5 again a couple of weeks ago, and never got to try the X1 before my break. I had sort of expected it to feel terrible or at least completely weird and mildly uncomfortable, but instead it puts a huge grin on my face :).
Handling is great (for an utterly mental car that's permanently glued to the road surface by a fan) and so is the sound and the cockpit design.
It's extremely doubtful I'll ever come close to remotely competitive times with my mere mortal reflexes, but I'll definitely be spending some time in it now and then just for the sheer speed and thrill.
 
I did this a while back, but I took a picture after I saw how consistent my laps were.

This was at Tokyo R246.
 
Starking...that is very fast. I can't break into the 48's very often. Good job.

A lot of the real racers here have been trying it. I think on the full simulator they've got it down to a 19 or 18.

It is a handful let me tell you. You are mentally drained after 20 or so laps.
 
Would be great to race with you friend. Send fr to Oshawa-Joe. I'm always looking for guys to race with when the wife is distracted. Quite often I'll be in Leyba's Redbull room.
 
Nurburgring Type V Red Bull X2010

5:39.553 with the d-pad.

Sat around the lobby for 3 hours today under room title "i dare you". Had no takers. Posted this time while i was waiting. A few crashes cost me <5:30. Im not the fastest guy but need people who are not chicken ***** to run with. Aids on/damage off no penalties. TRY to keep it clean but **** happens. Anybody want to run sometime? crybabies and ultra purists (aids off / damage on) need not apply.:dunce:
