Mmmm...how many laps per race?

It depends on the track.

Why not add in the Ford Falcon XR8 2000 to the car list as well? It fits your specs and after all is the only real V8 Supercar in the game :sly:

It would be a good idea, a lot of people will have it and it adds variety to the grid 👍

I may have miss it but for putting upgrades, are we aloud to have full suspenion, motor, drive train, and body, But tune down the hp and add weight?

Yes, I'm not sure if the Challenger has LSD modification available, if it doesn't then it will not be allowed.

Well im in for doing this and im going to run the camero. Just let me know what the restrictions are and ill do it.

Sorry ment to put Jack Danials not Jim Bean

Now, for chooses of track, im good for anything for now until i go over the track the car. Have to race at Daytona and Leguna Seca. But i think we should a a circle race at Daytona also. Like do a practice race to see how ever one likes it, if not have it be in the middle of the season. It would be like a mid season break race.

The Ford is out because of suspension tuning issues, also Jim Beam racing is full.

You guys should just call I the modern trans am series with the Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger. Very cool idea with the teams and V8 Supercars part though :)

I am looking to start the series sometime after the new year, I am looking to add a few course maker tracks to the mix, feel free to make your own.

Going for another one ford driver!

Looks good mate.

Yeah, the two cars look to be really close. It should make for some great racing, it's just a shame that there aren't any current V8 supercars in the game. How's your series going?

Very well thanks in series 2 now,
You can come and plug on our thread if you like, there are loads of V8 fans there!
You might get some takers.

I created a thread in the spot race section with the cars Ford Falcon XR8 and the chevy camaro '10 RM...Quite a few people were interested and it was a great race.....PM me if you need any help with regards to levelling the cars..👍....This should make for some great racing....

my concern is the difference in Downforce as the Camaro has 35/60 the Dodge only has 15/35 making me think that the camaro will run rings round the dodge

The Camaro will be limited to 15/35, regulating it is complicated but possible.

I have a practice lounge up right now, if you wish to join just add me RCS_Ford-Driver.

Lounge closed

Yes, use the power limiter.

thought that as there was no mention of how to get to 600-650bhp... but im guessing for testing we run 650bhp, until bhp limits are posted for certain tracks...

Edit: Did a few tests at different tracks it seems to me that the cars are pretty equal in straight line speed. The Camaro has the edge slightly on traction and grip equaling about .5 of a second a lap so not bad the Dodge does have a better feel to it but is slower to turn in and a bit edgey on throttle all in all for what they are, they are pretty fun :D

You didn't equip the Camaro with LSD right? You also limited your aero to 15/35? The lack of LSD modification is why the Dodge is edgey under throttle, I'm pretty sure that will be changed some time before the series begins. As far as power limit goes, I would test across the board, but the smaller tracks will be the ones where the power will be decreased, so if you're testing anywhere over 5km then 650hp will be a safe bet.
