I just got the shifter a couple of days ago. However I need another owner to help me of confirm something.

I can not for the life of me get the sequential mode to work. I have updated the lastest firmware, and made sure the seq plate has been installed correctly.

I have made sure the sequential mode is recognised by plugging it into my pc and launching the TH8rs software, there it showed up as being ok. But, still nothing when plugged into the PS3.

Has anyone else experienced this or is there something I am missing. My only explanation is that a while ago I can not recall which update it was, it mentioned something about the shifter in manual mode being corrected. Did they fix one thing and bug up the sequential mode?
 
Wow, that's a MASSIVE let down... I'm about to order it next week and was not aware of this at all. I was a huge sequential user with my DFGT/G25 and was really looking forward to shifting like that again with the T500. Anyone know if this a PS3 driver/compatibility issue that could be patched in the future, or is this somehow hardware related and not possible to implement? (can't imagine that could be the case)

REALLY made my heart sink here. Why? The amount of cars in the game that utilize sequetial gearbox with +/- lever mechanism is significant. If a non-official wheel (G25) is capable of both options on PS3, the official GT wheel should work without question (even though the TH8 is non-GT branded).
