Hi there, trying this again.

The last one was thrown off track because of the B-Spec seasonal, and then another one or something, anyway, this is really the latest since the previous one.

So I haven't completed this yet, but I figure since the PP max here is 470, and all the cars there are 400-460, so I tried with 356PP using a 106 S16, and one mistake, its all over. So I think setting the bar at 370pp to start with, and let the limbo commence!

EDIT: I'll include some of the info from the previous thread.

"...basically this is a small competition to see who can win the latest seasonal events with the slowest / lowest pp car.

...There's a place for timing it in Gold, Silver and Bronze."

I'm not sure about the part with 1st 2nd and 3rd, I'm thinking whoever gets Gold with the lowest PP will do it for now, keep it simple.

I assume you don´t want to do it on stock tyres.
So what´s your tyre choice to do this.

Racing Soft of course.

I think that makes it even, the cars always perform at their best (obviously).

I beat the last circut with a Citroen C3 1.6 '02, supercharged, with only 369PP.

So 368PP is the number to beat the record I've set, I'm going to try finding another car that I can with that or lower.
 
Won the Eifel track with a Engine Rebuild "Audi A2 1.4 `02" (rest stock) at 77 bhp and 308 PP with RS tyres. :D

Holy crap!

The best I've had so far is 365 with a Bora 4WD. Mind you, that course you're talking about is incredible easy, its the easiest of the lot, but still 308PP is quite low, gotta try that one myself, maybe with a Mk I GTI

Yep , London , Rome and Fuji is very hard , if not impossible.

btw won Autumn Ring with this car too.

Not necessarily the OPs intent, but I've been running a 428PP 207 GTi on Comfort Soft tyres. Proper last corner stuff, particularly at Fuji. That '05 Mini is fast as hell and difficult to catch.

Strip out all the weight, add ECU, fat exhaust, FC suspension and diff. Use the 6-Speed Close Ratio box for the short tracks and the stock transmission for Fuji.

Well, slightly different variation, but its a similar take, nice idea will try this too, isn't 428 a bit high? Or I won't be saying that once I get massive understeer? I wonder how high the PP would have to be for Comfort Hard? 470? I reckon I could get a Golf GTI Mk I around there on Comfort Hard if it were at 470PP (if it can even go that high).
 
Just finished Fuji with a 427PP 207, comfort soft, finished with ease, pulling a 2:07 ish on most laps, can send u the details if you're interested, it was set up differently to the one above though, so likely an advantage some where there
 
I just won the 'course creator' track using a Fiat 500 Premium on 306 pp.
Mind you, I did install the racing gearbox and racing softs and drop in 100kg of ballast, so I could up the bhp to 81.

It's slow in a straight line, so if you overtake on the final corner, you have to ensure they don't get back past you on the straight, otherwise you're hampered for the first turn. I haven't tried, but I can't see this car working on any other track.
 
I did rome with a 383pp citroen c4 im quite happy with that

428PP is a little high. The opposition are all between 417-427PP on Sports Hard, so I don't feel too bad running at 428PP on Comfort Softs. I think I may try for something nearer 417PP, but it might be a struggle on Comforts. Now, Sports Hard, I think you can probably drop much closer to 400PP. If I change up to them with my little Pug, I usually catch the lead car a lap earlier than on Comforts.

2:07 is about right for this PP on Comfort tyres, did you encounter the '05 Mini?? That's the bogey car for this Seasonal. Get you specs posted up man, nothing like a little rivalry to get the juices flowing :D:tup:

I did manage to do the whole series in an '07 Mini on 427 and the same tyrse as the other cars, although I had to drop in the racing box for the 'sprinty' courses such as London & the last one.

Nice. Try it in the '05 Mini, seems to be the one to beat in this series. The '07 never seems to present a problem, not sure why. I use the close ratio gearboxes for the short courses and the stock one for Fuji. Give it a go on Comfort Softs too, if you're feeling brave. You'll end up in quite a few last lap tussles, particularly if the aforementioned '05 Mini turns up... 👍

UPDATE

Same car tuned back up slightly with engine limiter to 340pp can win Rome.

I'm guessing the high weight allowed you to beef up the power.
 
I'm thinking basically, if the car can win at Fuji, it can win it anywhere, because that straight at Fuji must go for what? 1-1.5kms? I'm sure it actually tells me, but in terms of time for these cars it seems to take ages to get to the end.

Has anyone else had this happen, you just over take someone on that last corner, initially get away, then 10 seconds later need to block the guy because you're in a slower car? Try blocking more than 1! The trick is, to get the first car behind you in front of the car behind him by luring him to go past you on the side the second car is trying to go past him (if that makes sense), its hard, but it works!

I think my record for Fuji with a 360PP car (Racing Soft), so I'm going to try going in with a detuned M3 '07 that has 355PP RS again, anyone else getting lower than 360 for this one? Rome is the next hardest, but I still think the straight on Fuji is more difficult than Rome's start/finish part.

I've found that 180+ bhp is required to hang onto the coat tails of the competition along that straight and even then, if they catch your draft, you're done. And yes, the multi-block is a problem. It's easy enough holding off one car, but if I get caught with two or more of them, I pull out and let them duke it out. Running at low PP you've got to take them in the corners.

Still following the general theme, but keeping tyres the same as the competition, I've driven my Pug 207 down to 400PP on SH rubber...

Yeah down the lower end of the power scale you're better off increasing weight than shedding power. Obviously this is because once you're out of 2nd gear the weight is less of an issue.

I just did a 345pp win at Fuji with the following:
VW Bora V6 4motion '01 - 1740kg, 150bhp, ride height lowered and RS tyres.
Could probably have knocked 1 or 2 more PP off it but that's it. Incidentally I'm getting caned on the straights, 3 cars go past me on most laps, don't lose heart though!
 
I think I tried the Bora as well, with something close to the 345pp, I think it was in the 355pp area, so I'll see how low I can go.

Well, unless someone can beat the 345pp above, I think MattyLionUK is the winner for this round.
 
Won Fuji with a 367 PP car on Sports Soft. :)
Only added some weight , rest was stock.
