Hi!
Inspired by this thread I decided to do a series of hotlaps around the ring with some cars using comfort hards. I doubt there's any sort of data you can gather from these laps (since getting a good time is mostly about luck) but I though it's a fun challenge and also it's a good way to see how each car performs with minimal grip.
Also I was hoping of turning this into a sort of a competition; What's the fastest way to get around the ring with comfort hards? 💡

(this was the first time driving this car so not completely broken in)
I looked at the setting window with comfort hards selected and burst out laughing. I thought it must be impossible to drive this car with these tires (and how the hell are you going to stretch those tires out to fit those rims anyway). Turns out it was a lot easier than I thought. I ran 5 laps constantly improving my laptime but after that I couldn't go any faster. Once I was 2 seconds up all lap but mis-shifted at the beginning of the straight and ended up 0.2 seconds behind
. The ghost car kept running away and I even started calling it names (I stopped when I realised I was actually calling myself a bastard). Then I took a break, ate something, came back and found almost 4 seconds!

There were some big mistakes on this lap, but it was still faster than my previous attempts. A very fun car to drive especially on the highspeed sections as it has so much power. At first I struggled to get a clean lap but once I realised I could use first gear on many corners (to keep the revs high and kill the understeer) I started to get the hang of it.

I already knew the NSX-R was stable, but this test really hammered the point home. It didn't feel like I was driving on comfort hards, because the car had so much grip and was so easy to drive. At stock power the car has a bit of understeer which was a problem, but overall the grip was amazing.

I love this car. Not only is it beautiful it also handles really nicely and is easy to drive even with comfort hards. The only problem with the car is the sound
, it doesn't sound quite as good as the real thing. I had big issues with my shifter on this lap, second gear often didn't go in or suddenly popped out again as you can see on the video.

I've been wanting to do this ever since I started doing these hotlaps but only got to it today. It was pretty easy because I know this car so well and I had driven it with comfort hards a couple times online. I wasn't satisfied with the time though, I'm sure the car deserves more. I made some big mistakes but after several attempts couldn't improve.
This was the first time filming a wheelcam and I noticed I take a really weird grip of the shifterknob when changing to 3rd. Never noticed that before.
Here's also an outside view of this lap:

This was great fun. The car has some understeer so you have to kill it quick but once you get the rear out it's really easy to control. Not a very fast time though considering the specs (and there were some big mistakes aswell). The car really suffers from having only 4 gears.
All laps driven with G25 wheel, clutch and gearstick. No aids were used (no ABS). Only modification to the cars was an oil change and brake balance adjustment (4/1).
