Dramn, i was hoping you made the mistake. I would have bought that in a heartbeat then. Looks like im gonna have to wait a couple more paychecks to get it then

So I called the number for futureshop 1-800-663-2275.

They should give me a 10% better price than the difference.

So this should drop the price down to 575.00.

I called this morning and they have sent this to the managers to validate the website.
I will let you know if Futureshop will beat this price.
I'm hoping they do as I suspect the version number of the wheels from Futureshop will be the version 4 or above.

I will update if they decide to price match

I'm sure that Futureshop's "price match polices" are limited the retail outlets only. Hookbag is clearly an online store, so you're probably not going to get the reply you're hoping for...

As for v4's, I'm pretty sure you're right, Futureshop/BestBuy are pushing enough units to assume they're constantly restocking with fresh new ones, as opposed to some websites who could possibly have older ones kicking around...

I bought the T500 last summer and I wanted to make sure I get a new v4, so I checked Futureshop and they confirmed they are v4, as opposed to THIS Canadian site with the cheapest I've found, but they were v2's when they finally replied to me a month after several e-mails, as I suspected anyway, they had several hundred wheels in stock last year...now only 3?? (might be worth checking them if those three are v4's)

Amazon.ca and Costco.ca don't carry the T500 like in the US, so there's very few options for Canadians, which makes them on average $100 more expensive here (after the crazy canadian taxes anyway).

I talked to them today and they said all the requirements were met for their price match policy. I placed the order (I paid their full price) and will receive a $110 refund. So I purchased the item at $586.00. In 5-7 days they say they will refund the $110 making the purchase price $476.00 . Item will ship tomorrow. I will post if there I get the refund or if there are any issues. (if they charge me full price i'm taking it back to the store).
