Hey! Since I can't really get into online racing, I figured that trying to start a Vacation series would be a great idea!

During the weekdays of Spring break, starting Tuesday, there will be a 3-class race, happening twice a day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The classes are as follows :
LMP1 Class
(This is taken from the ALMS Series IV)

"Note: We will utilize BermudaKid's spec data for the LMP class.

Audi R8 Race Car (Audi PlayStation Team ORECA) '05 - 550 HP/950 KG ** No "additional" aerodynamic parts
Audi R10 TDI Race Car '06 - 580 HP/Stock KG
Bentley Speed 8 Race Car '03 - 550 HP/920 KG
BMW V12 LMR Race Car '99 - 570 HP/Stock KG
Peugeot 908 HDi FAP - Team Peugeot Total/Team Oreca Matmut '10 - 560 HP/Stock KG
Toyota GT-ONE - 550 HP/Stock KG
Pescarolo Courage C60 - Peugeot Race Car '03 - 570 HP/Stock KG
Pescarolo C60 Hybride - Judd Race car '05 - 570 HP/Stock KG
Pescarolo-Courage - Judd GV5 Race Car '04 - 580 HP/Stock KG"

The LMP1 Class will be allowed any tyre choice they so choose.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
LMP Challenge
Citroen GTbyCitroen Race Car

This will be a spec class, stock everything. Designed for those who aren't lucky enough to have gotten an LMP car, or think that they are much to wayward.

LMPC cars must use Racing Hard Tyres or lower, unless there is rain, then they are permitted to use Inters or Wets.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

GT Class

BMW M3 Coupe '07 - 590 HP/1342 KG
Ford GT '06 - 440 HP/1300 KG
Ferrari 458 Italia '09 - 480 HP/1300 KG
RUF RGT '00 - 500 HP/1300 KG
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) '09 - 480 HP/1300 KG

These can be upgraded in any fashion to meet the regulations. Additional cars may be added. Aero additions are allowed.

GT 500 Cars must have no more than 510 Horsepower.
DTM Cars must have no more than 530 Horsepower.
Both must weigh 1310 KG.

All GT Cars will use Racing Hard tyres(or lower). (Except in the rain, Inters and Wets are allowed. )

Again, this class is very experimental, but designed to give people the best opportunity to use the cars they have already developed. There will be Ballasts and Power cuts distributed to cars which are judged to be too fast, or power increases for cars which are too slow. The point is to have a Diverse, but Even field.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Courses

Expect Course selection to be on a Day to day basis. If there are 2 races in a day, one will be during Mid-day (PST) and one during the evening (PST).

One race will be a Short, technical course, and the other will be a larger course.

The room will open 30 minutes beforehand. You are encouraged to set a Fast Lap, and then you will be at the mercy of the "Fastest First" grid selection that GT5 does. Any discrepancies will be seen as Fate, such as something being broken, or a time penalty.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start Procedure

There will be a Formation lap, which will be led by the Pace Car, or the car on pole.

If there is a Pace Car, You will follow it around in Double file. Between where the pace car pulls off and the Start/Finish line is called the "Go" zone. You may travel at whatever speed you wish, but you MAY NOT CHANGE POSITION UNTIL YOU CROSS THE START/FINISH LINE.

If there is not a Pace Car, The car on pole will lead the field around a single lap, at 70 MPH, and no more than 110 MPH on the Straights. There will be a pre-determined "Go" Zone, and the same rules will apply.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The GT5 Online Racing Rules will be used.

Excessive blocking on the straights will be given a 30 second time penalty.

GT and LMPC cars are encouraged to move to the INSIDE on the straights. However, LMP cars are responsible for making SAFE passing moves. GT and LMPC cars must be responsible and leave sufficient room to let faster Classes by. Think, if we have a field of 4 LMP cars, and one goes by, be waiting for the other 3. GT and LMPC cars which are thought to be significantly interrupting the class above them will be penalized.

You must make at least ONE pit stop during the race, in the pit window. It must come after 3 laps in, and before the last 3 of the race. Anyone who doesnt pit in the pit window will be excluded.

Anyone not abiding by the Tyre rules will be excluded.

Join me on Monday for a Open test at the Season opener track, The Daytona Road oval! Expect it to be around 12 or 1 Pacific time, and the server will be up all day. Look for "GTP VLMS Test day". The password is my GTP user name, Hawkeye122

Post your class, PSN name, and if you are in LMPC or GT, a Side profile of your car with accurate Numbers, Wheel color and car color.

I'd love to do a nice endurance race :) I'll do this but I mean theres like no interest in this :( But I can see you put some good effort into your thread so I'd like to participate

Hey man, I'd be pleased to have someone to just race with, so even if it is you and me, I'd still like to have a go.
