PURE | LILO - Elise '96 RM series

Well. I know the Miata's season 5 will begins around Late October / early November.
So I want to create the "lil' sister series" of the Miata's.

This series will be the 1st entirely handle by myself. But i hope PURE members will help me in this work.
The name is LILOO - eLIse i LOve yOu (for the moment).
PS: I already had a proposition from Neil with "EVIL" (Elise Virtual International Love).
The final name of this new series will depend to your feedbacks to change/adapt/improve it
Plus this series will be a good point to improve my Photoshop skills (i'll create logos, banner, etc during my vacations, late august)

Here are my thoughts:

Schedule:

Certainly starts early september.
Fridays, 19.00 UTC

• 7 Rounds / every weeks / 1 drop.
• Real World tracks (preferably) + 1 custom (toscane) (you are free to suggest your track during august, final track will be up at the start of the season)

Qualifying

• Standard weekly qualifying PURE rules apply.
• 1 warm lap / 2 hotlaps / 1 cooldown - minimum of 1 official PURE Steward in the room
• Deadline 12hours prior the race
• 2% added for late qualifiers.

Race Day

Race length: 50mn - 1h

• Drivers will enter the track based on qualifying times.
• After entering the track, drivers are welcome to circle the track during their warm up lap and make their way to the front straight.
• self-grid by parking the car in the correct position on the grid.
• The P1 driver at this time is expected to NOT pass the start/finish line. That goes for any other driver. Approach the grid position slowly and make sure driver is lined up correctly in the box.
• Once the field is in position, the host will start the 40 second count-down to race start.
• Every race on the schedule will require at least one mid-race pit stop (between 33% and 66%on each track)
• Vehicles that have any form of damage may pit in these 33/66% laps windows without penalty.
• Drivers that quit any race for any reason will forfeit all points they may have earned for that particular race. (This does not include disconnects which are no fault of said driver)
• Any race finish that results in a tie between two or more drivers, will be corrected by examining each drivers fastest lap time during that race.

Sign ups & Teams

All races results, qualifying results and signs up will be done on the PURE website.
Team names are free.
2 drivers / team
Car colors must be the same for drivers in the same team.
At the beginning, 8 colors will be available
Color assignment will be 1st come 1st serve.
Car number is free to choose. 2 car with the same number will not be possible.


Points system

20 - 17 - 15 - 13 - 12 - 11 - 10 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1

bonus points available:
most laps led: 1
Pole: 1
Fastest lap: 1

There will be only one Division. The 15 best quali times (keep 1 free spot, just in case) will be able to race, no more.

Yeah, I think ten rounds is a bit too much, seven with two dropped rounds should be great.

And Fridays! That would be cool as well. I love the car though, great choice 👍

And suggestion... you should have it weekend races only most of us will be in school.
