Site Loading Issue

I've had an intermittent problem over the last few days where the site has been taking an extremely long time to load (we're talking minutes per page) and when it does load it commonly looks like this:

Like I say, it tends to be like this for 20-30 minute stints and then it's back to normal again but I was wondering, is this just due to the site being overloaded or something? It's definitely not my internet as everything else is loading fast as usual. I appreciate there might not be a lot you can do about it, it's just annoying me a tad as I can't really do anything when it's like this.

Also it's worth pointing out, there may already be a thread on this topic but my search page on the site won't load so I couldn't check, apologies!
 
Mines only ever does that when I'm using my unapologetically slow Mobile Data (Mobile Internet).

On Wi-Fi it's Super-Quick APU. :)
 
Still experiencing problems, it's once or twice a day and it's not a huge issue, just an annoyance. Can't understand it though as I'm struggling to see anything wrong on my end.
 
That happends to me everyday . ;)

I only re-load and re-load for 2 mins and it's back.

That also happends on my PSP web but it all works out. :)
 
I was having issues with it timing out yesterday on both PC, mobile browsers (Safari & Chrome) and the GTPlanet app.
 
Tom and Diogo, your issue is related to some type of connectivity problem with the content delivery network I use that actually hosts the site's CSS, Javascript, and image files on servers that are "closest" (in terms of network speed) to you. I don't know why it happens and because you're connecting to different servers on a network I don't control, it is very difficult to troubleshoot and I don't know the problem is occurring unless you report it, so thank you.

I have just "purged" all of the cached content on those servers in case something became corrupt, so please wait a few minutes and make sure to hit refresh in your browser. It probably won't do anything to help but I want to eliminate this possibility before moving on to the next stage of troubleshooting.

Dave, I don't know what could have caused your problem yesterday, but from what you described I do not believe it is related to these content delivery network issues.

Ah, this is interesting, as I see you are both using the same Internet service provider in the same general area. They were likely having connectivity issues to GTPlanet's data center.
 
Could you do a quick traceroute check for me, while the problem is occurring for you?

To do this, just open the Command Prompt (hit the Windows Start button, then start typing "Command Prompt"), then type tracert cache.gtpla.net and copy/paste the results here.
 
EDIT: Disregard all of that, missed the 'when the problem is occurring' part. I'll make sure to do it wnext time it happens 👍

I had a similar thought because I didn't have problems surfing my usual places and Speedtest results were fine. I'm just glad AT&T has it taken care of.
