hi
well ive been busy lately making some new pedals.
nearly all alloy construction using 30x30 and 20x20 framing as well as 6mm alloy channel.
the pedal arms are steel tubing and are pivoted on ball bearings so ultra smooth and should last a while, easy enough to replace too.
using a 'sam' sensor and festo cylinder 2/3rd's full of silicone oil to give a nice hard feel to the brake.
the pedal faces can slide up and down about 10mm to suit.
the alloy channel can slide sideways too to get the right gap for whether you left foot brake like me or heel and toe,you can get the pedals just about touching if needed,
the rake of the pedals can be altered to by tilting the whole sub frame by loosening 4 bolts.
i have also added number stickers on the frame to aid in lining up the height and sideways pedal location.
the cylinder anchor points can also slide up and down on the pedal arm as well as on the frame itself giving just about limitless settings.
anyways, enjoy pics while i break out the soldering iron
dirty shot of bearings in carriers.
