It has been a bit quiet but this is because we were working on a lot of things and there will be an update on the announced new products and the Australian shipments within the next two weeks.

But we were also working secretly on new product: The CSL Seat

The CSL seat is a stunning construction with a very clever and unique design. It is not only super solid and perfectly suitable for our strong ClubSport wheel. It is at the same time extremely lightweight, fully adjustable in any relevant way and super comfortable.

It comes with a shifter holder and is fully compatible to the following wheels, pedals and shifter sets:

All Fanatec products
G25 / G27
T500 RS

The seat cover will be easily exchangeable and we will offer additional designs as well.

Does it look familiar to you? This seat was previously sold under a different name but we came to an agreement with the designer and manufacturer to sell this product exclusively under the Fanatec brand and manufactuered by our factories. Renato is a genious engineer and there are more products in the pipeline from him.

The production has already started and we will fly in the first units for immediate delivery.

The price will be 299,95 USD / € and it will be available for pre-order from next week.

If I waited one more week, I would've waited for reviews of this cockpit before pulling the trigger on a wheel stand with a center post. However, I can't say that I'll be disappointed with the WheelStandPro coming to my house tomorrow. I just hope anyone who gets this cockpit will be pleased.

WSP is awesome. You won't notice the centerpost. It's completely different to the Playseat Evo, where you defenately notice the centerpost.

Wow, so glad that the Rinoseat GTR is getting wider distribution, and at a good price, too!

Any chance this is compatible with the TH8 RS where the Fanatec shifter is located?

TH8RS would mount using the Logitech shifter plate. RhinoSeats offered one for the G25/G27.
Based on this previous RhinoSeat-published drawing, they both use the same supports, just that the mount to shifter differs.

Thanks. That solves it. I am definitely interested in buying now.

Has Fanatec stated that they will offer a G25/G27 shift mount for the rig?
I would confirm that first. These drawings were published online originally by RhinoSeats, not Fanatec.

The only time I notice the center post on my evo is when i get in and out of it. I don't left foot brake though, and it would be a problem for left foot brakers.

Exactly. I have used it for 1,5 years and it has never been a problem for me. Still I may change it for a Rinoseat/Fanatec one in the future, as they state it is super comfortable. Playseat is not very comfortable for my lower back for longer stints.

I just started using mine for more then just sim racing and it is starting to get a little uncomfortable. For racing it has been perfect, but for other types of game with a keyboard in my lap, or controller in my hand it's not working out so great. I just had a friend order an obutto R3volution. Once he gets it together i'm going to go check it out, and may end up getting one of those, if it looks like i can get my triple screens just how I want them.

I never said, that it is a "problem". But if I use all 3 pedals of my G27 (right food braking), I notice it, because I need to turn my food around it a bit.

When I used the DFP (2 pedals, left food braking) I never noticed the center post.

Obutto R3evolution is also what will replace my "sim-racing-desk" one day, because it offers "all-in-one" solution. I can play any other game or just surf the internet in this seat.

Any updates on this yet for pre-ordering?

No. Thomas has a bit contradicting info on his blog. First it was said that it was supposed to be available for pre-order starting last week. So I have been checking his blog for 9 days now every 10 minutes.
The other thing says that they fly in first units for immediate delivery, which in my mind says that you can't order it before they have them in stock.
