I think instead of producing twenty of every car the exact same way in GT6, why don't we instead use the regional bullcrap versions as a basis for this explanation. We'll use the Nissan GT-R for this one.
First, a Japanese-spec GT-R is fundamentally different from a[SIZE=3]n American-spec GT-R. When it[SIZE=3] is shipped to the US, i[SIZE=3]t [SIZE=3]doesn't re[SIZE=3]ciev[SIZE=3]e the ne[SIZE=3]cessary suspensio[SIZE=3]n t[SIZE=3]weaks for d[SIZE=3]riving [SIZE=3]on Japanese r[SIZE=3]oads, therefore[SIZE=3] the[SIZE=2][SIZE=3]suspension [SIZE=3]is softer, and less respon[SIZE=3]sive[SIZE=3]. Also, there is a slight drop in power, and [SIZE=3]if you live in California, an additional drop in power [SIZE=3]to meet em[SIZE=3]issions standards.
[SIZE=3]Fo[SIZE=3]rtunately[SIZE=3], [SIZE=3]emissions [SIZE=3]regulations don't mean a damn thing in v[SIZE=3]ideogames, unless it's a green game. Thankfully, [SIZE=3]no such thing exists[SIZE=3]. GT6, should apply these su[SIZE=3]b[SIZE=3]tle di[SIZE=3]ffer[SIZE=3]ences, which ironically[SIZE=3] enough, they've already modeled a[SIZE=3]n LHD ver[SIZE=3]sion[SIZE=3] of the GT-R. All that would be needed is the suspension[SIZE=3] adjustments w[SIZE=3]ritten into the cod[SIZE=3]e and essentially m[SIZE=3]irror the RHD version[SIZE=3] of the GT-R[SIZE=3], and re[SIZE=3]place the Speedometer [SIZE=3]with a[SIZE=3]n Imperial one.
If they do this with every car that is made with steering wheel on both sides, it saves them the trouble of wasting hellacious amounts of money, doing everything from scratch.
