Quickest way to cycle UCD

Whats the fastest way to cycle all 30 cars in the UCD? Tried leaving an A-Spec race right after the Start message and then restarting but that didn't work. Also tried restarting practice several times but only got six cars refreshed.

I run 5 races in the sunday cup autumn ring track using the x2011 prototype. Takes about 6 minutes for the 5 races and various load screens to get back to the ucd for the full 30 refresh.

I go into Sunday Cup and enter the race then just click enter again and again. I don't mean leaving the race, just to the race menu and start another race. This in my opinion is the quickest.

Go to licences then chose B1 and skip the licences till you get to B5 and the UCD should be fully refreshed.

Its been asked many more times than that, just didn't feel like linking them all.

I used the search function available for this site which does work. I also used your very own thread title for the search.

This. There's a number of threads on the subject, but that one does have the right answer in it. Sometimes the search works well, but sometimes it can be tricky as not everyone uses the same words for things. This time it apparently did work just fine.

Bottom line for those who can't be bothered to click and read... the fastest way is unquestionably to load a race, then start and quit and restart(without reloading) 5 times, then exit and check the UCD, then repeat. The first Sunday Cup race is a good choice since the track is very small and loads quickly. Apparently doing it in B-Spec saves you a button-press each time you quit, thereby saving you a few tenths. License tests are quick, but still slower than this method.

Well, like I said, I used the OP's exact thread title for the search and it worked just fine. If he would have search using his thread title, he would have found the answer to his question without cluttering up the forums with yet another duplicate thread. You would be surprised at how many times I have done that. Search using the thread title and at least one, if not more, duplicate threads are found. I even had a few say, "I've searched and searched and couldn't find an answer." I use the search function using their exact thread title and what do you know, there's the answer right there.

Also, to add to the answer, whatever method you use to flip the UCD, if you do it while offline (internet disabled in the XMB menu), it is quicker yet. I myself use the license tests, 1-5, while offline and it goes pretty damn quick.

I used to use the license tests, but it takes ages because it constantly saves when you change to a different one and doesn't seem very quick.

So I started using Sunday Cup Autumn Ring method instead now. I'm not cycling 5 days, but more like 20+ to get the few cars that I still need to collect to get all of the UCD cars. I have to wait like 500 days for the Honda Gathers Drider Civic Race Car (I could win it, but the Civic seasonal is tough) so I've been using this method cycling lots of UCD days and it takes like 5 minutes. Way faster than the license tests - but my point is, I would not have known about this method without that link you posted Cargorat (and I would not have thought to search for it because I thought the License test method was the fastest, but I guess not).

Thats weird because the license tests seem quicker to me. Maybe its because I have my internet disabled when I do it. Who knows, whatever works best for ya, thats what matters.

Why don't you try it. If you don't find it faster, then go back to the license tests, but if you do find it faster, then I've helped.

If he said the licenses seem faster then I'd assume he did try it in order to be able to compare the speeds.

I only do it because I'm still looking for like 3 more Veyrons. Those damn things are hard to get the whole collection of. After I get those, than I won't have a need to flip the UCD. I could rip tickets but I hate doing that.

They come up in the OCD quite a lot I've found. Or is that how you've got lots of colours?

I got an Excel file of the UCD Database off of here and it's the database that GT5Cars.net gets its predictions from. The only major difference is though it lists all the colours. If you knew how many more days til you get the colour you're after in the Veyron, it would be faster.

(or do you already know about this?)

Yea, I already know all about that. I don't bother checking tho. If I get bored while watching TV, I'll just switch the other TV on and start flipping while watching TV, stopping to check every 5. I've got all my Veyrons that way except like 2. Those I got from the OCD.

And here I just do my thing and be sure to check the UCD regularly. I got my FGT this way and I got my 2J this way. (Those seem to be the more popular targets by people wanting to cycle the UCD)

Well maybe not the FGT considering it's in the OCD every fortnight. But certainly the 2J and 2D, yes.
