Setting up private lounge?

I was setting up my lounge and I went to race start set-up and there were two extra choices there... Rolling start and rolling start X2. I did not get a picture of it but saw it with my own eyes (not that that means anything).

I started a race but was alone in the room so not sure how that would have turned out. When my friend joined and I told him to check it out and sure enough it was gone! Might be coming soon in an update or something?
 
That's really unusual. I don't think I've ever seen it, maybe it's PD testing it out.

Are you sure you just did not get rolling start option as a glitch?
 
I have never done any ticket doubling or any glitching of any kind on my PS3 so i don't think it was anything like that, I did everything in the same order as I always do. Maybe they were testing something out? I have no clue where it came from, or where it went???
 
Hmm. That is strange...
I think the Rolling Start setting is when you want your race to start with your cars already on the move, and the Rolling Start X2 is the same, except there are two rows of cars (like in NASCAR). As for the settings disappearing though, I got nothing on that!

That has always been available.... I can't believe it hasn't been noticed until now. :lol:

To be honest,me neither.I heard about it on GT's site but have never seen it on GT5,never tried it on my brother's PS3 :odd:.
 
Really? It has always been there? What did I do to just now after two+ years of playing see this for the first time? Track choice?
 
I think It only works on the oval tracks though. The cars will go single file on all the other tracks.
 
I play online regularly and don't see this there is only two options Grid start and grid start with false start check so how do yo get it.
 
It's only available on certain tracks. You've yet to mention what track you were on, so I'm going to assume that:
A: You were at Daytona, Indy, Motegi or Route X.
B: It was just a glitch

Actually it was Nurb GT/F when I saw it then we changed to Indy road, sorry I didn't say what track.


I thought it would be strange on that track.

Not only do we have rolling starts now, but a new track to boot, the legendary Nurb GT/F!!!:sly:

I just entered a lounge that's set to Autumn Ring Reverse and rolling starts are not listed as on option, even a greyed out one. Possible it pops up at Road Course Indy or RC Daytona but not sure.
