So what do you guys think?

i like em i just never bothered to check this thread. always went straight to the olr weekly.

although i think i would get rid of the R390 since i think it would blow the others away

sorry road cars only. there arent many racing cars with v8s, so using road cars would result in much closer lap times.

Then u should Have named the series and thread V8 Challenge or somthin along those lines, for two reasons the first and most serious reason is that in real life their is a Motoracing series in Austaralia called V8 Supercars and the XR8 (Au Ford Falcon) is one of them the old Ford Credit Racing team of Glenn Seton, and im almost sure that if Avesco found out that thier copyrighted name was being used they wouldnt be too pleased about (tho i doubt they'll found out)

and secondly that the Ford Credit V8 Supercar would kick those other cars butt, although i think that there might be more v8 racing cars in GT3 unless im mistaken i'll check it out, anyways im thinking bout joining in this tho its a pitty the XR8 cant be used i'll get back to ya when ive made up my mind!

I don't think he's breaking any laws by using the name for a profit-free purpose, nor is he claiming that he came up with the name originally.

Do you have any "fill out" information?

With just cars and tracks, we have no idea what you have in mind.
Give us an enticing taste, and you might see more replies.👍

Also, all the above mentioned cars are beasts. Cote D Azur might be an "interesting" challenged to run tail-happy cars.:D

rules are same as the weekly race series rules(no hybrids,no short cuts , no wall riding etc etc.) and to make it interesting your car must be fully tuned and WITH NO TCS OR ASM!!!!!MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!!!

im ghanging the name if this thread to V8 Challenge as to the new name for this cup, which is also V8 Challenge!!!!

ok then who's ready to pit v8 against v8/ its time for the sign-up process

jsut say you want to sign up and ill put you on the list, but there is a rule: you are only, and i mean ONLY allowed to miss 1 race, miss another one and your out. if for sone reason you need to miss another race , then pm me the reason and ill let you miss that race. sign up below:

Keep in mind that some of the rest of us have lives. Lives that interfere with our play time. So the "miss more than one race and you're out" rule will cull most of your competitors.
You still have failed to flesh out the plan.
I was sorta interested, but with no clear direction, I daresay that you'll see little activity.
You have the basis for a cool series. But if you make getting information like pulling teeth, you will be racing that dude Nitro-2003, and him only.
Your intro post has a list of cars, and a SHORTER list of tracks.(13 cars/9 tracks)
Do you have certain cars you want to race on certain tracks? Or are we looking at picking one car to run the entire series? Or, are you looking for 2 to 3 people to pick a car and stay with that car for the series? Or do we pick our favorite 9 cars and run them at a track like Mr. P's ARC series?
Most of us like to race, but we have to have some sort of direction.
As a general rule, no info = no racers.

you cna pick which ever car you like, and because of your persuasive post gil ive decided it doesnt matter if you miss a race. you lot dont have to do all the races, but you can do if you want. do as many as you are able to. first race will be at Midfield Raceway on 15th November. Until then testing will be at Complex String. oh and im going to add a couple more tracks to the schedule so i have an even number to do an idea ive just thought of. at the half way piont of the season, you get the oppertunity to change what car you have, so say you have the esprit v8 se and you want to change to the gt40, at the halfway point in the season just pm me if you want to change your car and i will confirm your change. ok?

Don't forget the points system. And are these arcade or sim cars?

well you cant get arcade cars fully tuned can you so its obviously sim cars. and here is the fpionts system:

1st: 20
2nd: 16
3rd: 12
4th: 10
5th: 8
6th: 6
7th: 4
8th: 3
9th: 2
10th: 1

now is that all the info you need?

Please see the interest check thread for the A. R. C.
I imagine you can do that. Then give us at least that much information.
But for some reason, my little voce is telling me to beg off on this one.
