I don't think there have been any shots of any Swedish cars in GT4.

I know you don't want rumours, but there was some talk of the Koenigsegg being in there, but nothing's come of that rumour.

Some Saabs & Volvos were tested in some of the GT track days, but none have been confirmed or seen in game yet. :(

Not sure about Koenigsegg.

didnt know Koenigsegg was a swedish company......btw, how is it pronownced lol......

oh yeah, i hope volvo are in gt4......imagine a tuned up s60r mmmmmmmmm

The grounder's name is Königsegg, meaning that the Koe is pronounced like it has only one vowel (in this case the sound between 'o' and 'e'). So it's pronounced Koe-nigs-egg.

Top Gear (british car tvshow) made a special on that car, calling it the fastest in the world on topspeed, right in front of the Zonda by 10 mph.

Look it up, its pretty cool car ;)

And the Koe vowel sounds almost as the combination in for example "learn"

Volvo estates (240, 850, V40, V70 etc), they seem to be rather popular with antique dealers in the UK.

Oh, and the traffic coppers seem to have a taste for the high-performance versions of the above (850/V70 T5-R).

I think the vowel sound in "burn" comes quite close too.

Anyway, awesome car. Supposedly it went 240mph during the last Gumball. :odd:

Koeniggsegg was featured first on Project Gotham Racing 2 (X-Box), and I wasn't very impressed with the car. :(

honestly, i don't think Gotham is good enought to represent cars in videogames...

NEEE NOORRRRRR *fanboyism alert*

*Ill informed PGR2 slander detected, defence mode on*

Don't tell me, PGR2 isn't realistic enough BWA HAHAHAHAH

Guys, pull your heads out of your rectums, and realise that PGR2 is NOT TRYING TO BE A GT GAME. Sheeshh. If you BOTHERED to play it, you would see that its a fun, well made game. Saying that it isn't good enough to represent cars is just comical, if PGR2 isn't good enough, how can tat like NFSU, with it's crap cars, stupid handling and yo yo frame rates be good enough? OHHH beacause it's also on the PS2 right...gotcha
Right I'm off to play ICO, superb game btw :D...utter genius.

*waits for the back lash*

The only thing really good enough, is the real thing. No game can simulate the feeling of actually driving a car, you feel everything from the vibrations (the type of vibrations change depending on wheather you have a female passenger next to you) to G-Forces. GT and PGR are similar in one way, they both feature real licensed cars, but thats it.

hehe that you werent impressed of a car in a game means its bad? Jeez. they are games, esepically with Project Gotham racing which is purely arcade

Koenigsegg seems interesting

Ever heard of Live for Speed.IMO the best car/racing simulator available. It's an Online only game and the physics are as close as you can get to driving a real car.

Yep I play that from time to time, not played for a while now though. It's got great physics but the only real car is the MTR5.
