Spoiler: Easiest way to get the import/export patriot.

Having a hard enough time as it is getting those damned import/export cars delivered? Well, im here to save you the pain of having to go into the army base to get a patriot.

It's rather simple, really.. If you have gotten all the other cars except the patriot, or are even just barely starting, then you should WAIT until you get to the mission "Intensive Care" -- It's the first mission after you meet Rosie in Caligula's Casino. In this mission, you are supposed to go and rescue some mafia guy from the hospital. What's so special about this mission, you ask? Well, it's simple really.

There is a patriot that spawns there once you accept the mission. In order to get it, all you have to do is go to the hosipital (avoid the marker for now), hop in the patriot, and cruise to your closest Safe House with a garage. Once at the safe house, park the patriot in your garage. Since you can't save your game in the middle of a mission (usually), you'll just have to leave it in the garage. Anyway, run off and do the mission. After the mission, re-visit your safe house and make sure the patriot is in your garage. DONT SAVE YET!

If you come to your garage to find that it doesnt open, try walking straight through it. This happened to me.. It's a bug. Anyway, just for safety's sake, hop in the patriot (which SHOULD still be there, it was for me). Drive down the block a ways and then turn around to return to your now fully functional garage, and save your game. Once you save your game, simply hop in and take the patriot all the way back to San Fierro to get rid of the thing!

Good find, It was alittle late for me, I did it the hard way.

I did it the hard way too. I just ran in there like a crazy lunatic and barely got it. My tires were out and it had black smoke coming out of the engine.

That's exactly what I did on that mission too. I'd tried to get it from the base a couple times, then thought 'Meh, I'll do it later'. When I saw it at the hospital, I ran it to a safe house, went back to pass the mission, got the Patriot from the safe house and drove it to SF (on the train tracks) before saving. Worked like a chizarm.

There's one that spawns in the Easter Bay Chemicals car park. It's not always there but if you check there a few times it'll eventually turn up.

i got it that way on that mission as well. but its not that hard to steal it. drive any car into easter bay no one shoots until you hop out, then hop out near the patriot, use m4 to shoot all the guys then hop into patriot and drive to payn spray. Its simple and not that hard.

Anyone tried getting the one at area 69? Just parachute in using teh hustler (P-51 mustange) and then hop in and park in the airstrip garage. Leg it into the building and save.

I haven't tried that yet, but it worked with the tank.

That's how I did it, probably the easiest possible way to do it.

whats so hard about just jackin one at area 69 ? Its always around.

I got mine at the naval base at Easter Basin not too hard

Easiest way is from the docks. Just drive to the I/E place. takes 30sec.

I bagged mine using a NRG-500... parked it outside the gate... sprinted into the base grabbed the patriot and ran it out of the base... hopped out onto the Bike... and upto Pay'n'Spray... once clean I cruised down to the patriot and casually drove it to the crane!!
