right now i am trying to decide on what kind of veihicle to buy. i am thinking of getting a nissan s13 shipped from japan, which is what i am leaning towards, or a truck not sure what, most likely trail blazer, s10, mazda b-series, or toyota tacoma.
the attachments are close to how i will make mine, the same style. please help me out. with the truck i will put a steel plate under the bed to produce sparks, and the silvia i will be drifting. now i hate the blue truck but love the tribal paint.

S13 with the flames from the blue S10. Try and get the fastback version of the S13. I'm not at all partial to those cuz I had one :).

thanks for the feed back, btw i hate flames. especially on a car, well except old hot rods. i cant stand 240 sx's there everywhere, i am importing a real silvia from japan if i get one. I agree on the Samurai but i put that on there for an idea of paint. and BTW everything will be done by me in my dads garage.

Why do that? Just buy a 240SX coupe, echange the engine and bodywork parts, and you got yourself a left hand drive Silvia :)

Or better yet, a 240SX 'CoupeBack', kinda like the 240SX 'HatchCoupe' modification but you're putting a hatchback nose on the coupe. I once saw one of those, they're pretty unique :)

I believe the vehicles pictured in this thread are the single ugliest vehicles I've ever seen in my entire life.

Just exclude the 240 coupe and the green S10 and I'll be happy with ya. OK, the tails are ricish but the rest is ill

IMO the CLK ain't a bad piece 👍

Anyway, hydraulics are cool anytime, anytwhere 👍 (S10), so are fully functional rollcages and stripped out interiors in the name of drifting (240) 👍

Hydraulics *might* be the stupidest thing ever. It does nothing for a car. Fully stock is the way to go unless you're into subtle performance modifications. STOCK WHEELS ARE ALWAYS BETTER THAN AFTERMARKET ONES. I've not yet found a case where this isn't true.

By the way, CLK320s suck. As do most base model Mercedes products.

RS Watanabe F8F rims on a Miata or a Hachi Roku. Enough said.
You'd have to post a picture for me to disagree with you, but I stand by what I said.

You really should post more often. This thread rules! 👍

The forged alloy rims are lighter, thus reducing unsrpung weight. They're also stronger. To little suproise, the Fujiwara Tobumobile has these rims:

(I toyed around with the settings to brighten it up, so some parts are distorted)

Actual F8's

Hmm, I checked again, and F8F's are five lug wheels (as opposed to four) but you still get the idea.

I say 240SX, while I stay with my RX-7, I'm not all that big into trucks, btw that poor samurai needs to be crushed.

AE86 wheels are pretty bad stock. Fine, take this:

On vehicles manufactured after 1988, there is not a single case where aftermarket wheels are better than stock wheels, with the EXCEPTION of wheels taken from another car OF THE SAME MANUFACTURER and placed the car in question (00-03 Maxima wheels on a 91-96 Q45 seems to be common these days, for instance).

Ooh, touche indeed, but I have a counterattack:

The Miata started production in late 1988, and, much to my liking, is still in production. RS Watanabe's F8 design dates back to he 60's (there's another touche), but, they have came out with newer, but still functional (lighter and stronger) stock rim designs, such as the Cyclone:

If the rim's the same size, it's lighter, and it's as strong or stronger, it benefits the car's handling.

And don't forget rims replacing steel wheels. You know most rims are probably better than those ugly ass steel wheels.

So replace a steel wheel + hubcap with one from the same vehicle manufacturer. For instance, upgrade a Civic DX's wheel to Civic EX's wheel, or a Grand Prix GT's to a GTP's. Otherwise, wheels from aftermarket wheel manufacturers screw up the look of the car, and they cost a fortune. That Skyline included.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and also an opinion. And I think that R32 with those rims looks prefect. :)

Edit:, oh, here we go, I'll bet you $15 the optional spoke wheels on Dad's '93 Roadmaster weigh more than the nicely covered steel wheels he has now. And don't come back with the Caprice or Fleetwood 'wheels', because they were all the same wheel with a different cover.

Read my edit...

Now, there's no way you can tell me those Aero Racing Wheels, yes, hardcore NASCAR junkies, the same rims Jeff Gordon rolls on, are increasing unsprung weight on, say, the buick.

to everyone, if your a hater like M5P go some where else. the truck thats 3 wheeling was an airdraulic system, not hydraulic. the s13 is gorgeos. and whats this about aftermarket rims?? and jus because you have a lot of money doesnt mean you should say bad things about it. i am a kid who has to pay for everything himself, whos parents are just getting nice things, since we use to live in the ghetto i didnt have anything nice. and i found a love (cars) to make my life a little better, and you critisize me for picking viehicles with no taste! stop drinking your haterade j/k.
and for those wondering why i want to import, is because i like the authenticity of a real silvia. and it actually cost more to convert a 240 sx coupe. i had found a k class silvia for 6 thousand dollars. i am most likely going to get the silvia, and start a drift team with ND4SPD.

Now, see, that's just a bash out, meanwhile, me and M5P are engaged in a good old-fashioned battle of the wits, cheers :)

Oh, and airdraulics.... real sweet :)

victor vance thank you, and i agree. and i find a lot of stock wheels ugly as hell. and there would be no exterior mods untill i have close to 380 hp to the wheels. with the truck it would be nothing but exterior and anyhting to make it look better. this feels wierd no one is talking. and i do not want to double post so someone talk please.

Might as well buy yourself a Honda Civic.

No matter what you get its going to end up impaled sideways in a tree.

Is there any possibility of getting a Skyline, since you're thinking about importing a car from Japan anyway? You'd surely have one of the only ones in your neighbourhood, city, even country....

I don't get it. Are you arguing in favor of steel wheels with hubcaps?

I'm not going for weight here, either, I'm going for looks. People who claim to be saving weight in the wheels by replacing stock ones are usually making either incremental losses or actually gaining weight, not to mention the absurd price of a lot of the wheels out there. 99.9999% of people buying wheels, no matter what they CLAIM to be doing, are buying them to look better. Stock wheels are typically pretty light anyway.

yes there is a chance of me getting a skyline. but only an r32, i can get a newer one but i have to make it meet our standards. here in canada there are strict laws. and everything has to meet our emmisions standards, eccept when its 15 years or older than its a classic and doesnt need to pass emisions. and its more expensive, and insurance would just be crazy. and to mp5 why are you selling your audi a4. my brother started working at toyota recently and baught one, and we both love that thing, its crazy fast and very rare car when modified.
