GT4 Japan Car Quick Reference Guide

The new QRG is now at the link above. I would like to thank Jordan for hosting the guide on GTPlanet.net. The QRG now has filtering options that are fully functional. If anyone notices any errors in the guide, please let me know.

I put this Quick Reference Guide together using the information in The359's Official Car List and maskrider's Game Screenshot Thread.

It is a HTML page that has all the cars listed in a table with the following information:

UPDATE:Weightower in kg/PS
UPDATE:Value

You can click on the table headers to sort the table by Make (default), Cost, Power, Torque, Weightower, or Value. To view the QRG, click on the link above.

Dude, you rock. I've been looking for one of these to figure out what car I wanted to start with. Props.

I think this should eventually be hosted by GTP also.

The only thing I can think you might want to add would be power to weight ratio and maybe the actual weight even though it can be devised from the ratio.

Power to Weight ratio was the only major stat I couldn't deduce from the screenshots. As I don't actually have the game (I'm in the US), I don't know each car's weight. Once I am able to get the weights, I will definitely include that.

Also, maskrider adds more cars to his screenshot gallery everyday, so I will keep updating this table as new cars are found.

Excellent, this helps me that much more to decide what car to start out with for $10,000 or less when I start the game. Both the old RWD Mitsubishi Lancer and the old 4WD Mitsubishi Galant look/sound great, although I have a feeling they will be kind of rare and not show up in the dealer list every day. Also nice to see the old 1979 Civic hatchback, I remember riding in one of those when I was younger and it brings back nice memories.

I think this thread should probably be stickied so as it doesn't get dropped to the depths.

Alright, I took a look at the HTML and tried to employ your suggestions. I reworked the tables to fill to the size of each person's browser. My screen only goes up to 1024x768, though.

Could you check it out for me and let me know how it looks on bigger screens?

Also, changed the tab to GT4. My next project is to add in a Power:Weight column.

It works perfectly on my 1280x1024 display. The only thing that I noticed was the cell at the bottom of the page. It's the color of the background, while it's supposed to be white.
