!WSCC NOW CANCELLED! GT4 ALMS Announced!

!!ATTENTION!! The World Sportscar Championship has now been cancelled. I know how disappointed you all must be, but i don't think i would be able to handle 2 world racing championships.

So, instead, i am going to run a GT4 ALMS Championship. This championship will take place at all the american circuits and GVS, El Capitan and Apricot Hill.

I know you are very very disappointed in losing the WSCC, but the GT4 ALMS should be a success. if you would like to take part in this new series, then you can register your team in the new registering thread i will put up.

I think I would do it, but I would probably only be able to get one other driver. Maybe two others. Probably not though, probably just myself and a single friend.

I think he is with me...I sent him a PM saying we can run three cars this time...I think he misunderstood. :dopey:

I think we should run both of these events simultaneously in both series. Same tracks on the same week, or however you do it. Then we can still have the feel of the track. It may need to be a bit later so that everyone can get their cars, though. I guess someone could be kind enough to post a Sharkport file with the needed cars, for the people who don't have their car yet.
 
Hmm... 💡 Would it be possible to play this online with X Link? I'd love to actually race rather than just post lap times. :crazy:
 
3rdgenracerX and PS2112 (is he a member here too?) are on my team in the R8.

That means I can take advantage of this opportunity and reserve myself a super-hot Le Mans-type car. :D

I'll be taking the Toyota GT-One (TS020) then.
 
is this gonna work in classes?

i cant see the cars like M3, viper, vertigo etc beating the bentley and V12 LMP etc

yes!!! race lengths are the same as the ones for the WTCC, except this time you will be doing 3 races. cars must be stock, no nitrous allowed and qualifying times may be discussed, not race times. i'm thinking of doing another series. which would you prefer: a GT4 SuperSports series (with gt300 and Group a rally cars) or a World Rally Championship???
 
WRC would be cool, or an endurance series of some sort 💡

at some point we should have a 24 hour race!



p.s. is this working in classes? or is it just like the wtcc all in one.

also, what are the dates, will it be run on the week where there is no wtcc?
 
Gt Fan, the problem is that we do have a life outside GT, and I'm not sure everyone will be able to race 24 hours in a row.
 
lol, true, i however am not one of those people

i live and breath GT, i cud sit all the 24 hour races and do the series all in one go

but thats probly just me right? :sly:
 
the races will run a week after the preceding wtcc race, so the schedules wil run like this

week 1: wtcc
week 2: wscc
week 3: wtcc

etc. etc. etc.....
