Looking for good PSX emulator + ROMs

Hey guys

ok, i'm looking for a good PSX emulator and i'm also looking for a place where i can get the roms for free without having to do that whole vote rubbish. can anyone give me advice?

About the emulator, I recomend you the ePSXe emulator.
You can get it, and lots of plugins for it, in The Emulator Zone
You'll need to get some PSX Bios too, take a look here

Note: it's only legal to own a bios of the PSX version you have...

You are not allowed to talk about ROMs here. But if you have a PS1 cd you can use that if you get ePSX emulator.

Also, PS1 ROMs are very big so why bother downloading?

nitro_2005, you have been around long enough to know that these things are illegal and cannot be discussed here at GTP.

I wouldn't waste my bandwidth on an old PSX game. Stop being lazy and go down to your local game shop and pick them up for less than $5.

I think that emulators are legal.

ROMs however are not.

That's why i only posted links for the emulator and bios, warning that he should get a bios according to his PSX version.

PlayStation 2 = PS1/PSTwo
PlayStation 2 (expensive(1000), released in Japan)(Garbage) = PSX
PlayStation Portable = PSP
???Playstation 3 = PS3???

PSX is widely used when talking of PlayStation 1. The ePSXe emulator is an example of that.
