Altezza Touring Car Settings
 
What is the name of the track the majority (in the middle of your collection) of pics are on. It is completely unfamiliar to me. I'm sure I haven't been there. But I must have, I've been on all 50 :boggled:

Great pics by the way and what a car, I gotta get round to using it.

It looks like the Nurburgring to me but i wouldn't be 100% on that..
 
no its not Nurburgring.
actually i forgot which one.
i think its like the second or third one down when selecting "world circuits".

let me know what you think fo the settings too.

if you find anything that seems to work better, let me know.
I am the first one on this forum to post settings for this car, so I don't have
anything to compare too.

by the way, your Altezza Touring Cars should have more power like 560 instead of mine having 550. because mine has a lot of miles on it.

if you are used to driving cars with 1000hp+, this car is going to feel slow at first, but will be super easy and fun to drive.

The track is called "Fuji Speedway"
its the second and third track selection in "World Circuits"
 
I assuming this car is only available in the PAL and JPN versions. If its in the NA version, where do i get it???

this car is avaliable in the US version.
you have to use the Lexus IS200 (from US) and race in one of the toyota races (Japan) called "Altezza Race".
its only a few tracks, pretty easy. Then you win money and this bad boy.

I have always found the Altezza Toring car to be butt-ugly.

Does anyone have the korean version that has a really nice IS200 in it

I've often wondered the same thing.....

on a side note, as I was reading this thread I had a revelation:
I don't really care about racing online, but if the GT4-Online release (if it ever happens) had ALL cars from all versions of GT4 (hopefully with the US/PAL excluded car descriptions) I guess I'll be dropping another $50!
 
so basically the korean version just has more Hyundai cars to choose from . :sick: i dont get it .. if the game originally made from Japan why not Japanese version have everything ... or just make every version and have same things so people wont get upset cus they dont have cars that other version has :nervous: like now iam upset that Japanese version doesnt have IS200 GT1 and iam gona go cry now LOL ! :grumpy:

well, I've liked the Altezza ever since it came out.
too bad they don't build them here in the U.S.
but I have something better:
Lexus IS300 Turbo.

Very Nice. I like your Pics. I take it you like headlights.
I used red caliper paint for the calipers. and those are high temp stickers on the calipers.

LOL i love lights and brake roters and clipers :P i want turbo as well but over in australia everything is expensive... :'( the cost of an IS200 in AUS is enough to buy a GS300 in US .... LOL !!

so how much in total u spent for the car anyways ? lol i love that white colour u got same as the IS300 i drove in the pic :P

The Caliper paint is THIS PRODUCT . I bought mine from eBay for a little cheaper.

I got the stickers from eBay too, I think. There is one for sale right HERE

The total cost of upgrades on my car is $10,000. I was selected to be a part of a show on the speed channel called "Tuner Transformation ".
 
Hey so did u had to disassemble (take off) ur Calipers in order to paint them or u just paint it while it still on wit the roters ?

Actually, you get a brush, so I didn't even have to take off the wheels. you just have to keep a wet cloth or towel with you in case you drip any, you can wipe it off the rim right away. the whole process took about 1 hour to do it correctly with 2 coats. 1 kit of that G2 paint gives you enough for about 2 cars.
