Drift Photo Competition Week 16

Photo Requirements - By buggymaster
Track : El Capitan
Car Era\Type : Hatchbacks
Deadline : 6/23/05

This is a drift photo competition. Your car must be drifting.

NO PHOTOCHOPPED IMAGES - You must upload an untouched image straight from your memory stick.

At the end of the photo entry, quati will choose his/her 15 favorite photos to be entered into the poll. The person who wins the poll will then get to choose the car and track restrictions for Week 18, and then choose their favorite photos at the end of entry. If you ever have suggestions about the contest, please post them in our Drift Photo Competition Rules Discussion

I know other's have done this, but I wanted to say that this is EXACTLY how the entries should be posted. With just a few others. Not a whole arrangement of other pics.

I took the good ole' R32 for a spin, i found myself taking perfect lines on many corners, which is evident​
 
These car requirements will create alot of arguments.
Dose the M Coupe count? Bimmer calls it a coupe but it looks like a hatch.
Let's put down some rules before we start yelling at each other.
 
hey, sorry about the track, trying to change it to the el capitan course. hatchbacks and citys seemed to match up at the time and that was all that clicked :dunce:

and you know what, im sure no matter what i choose is bound to create alot of arguments :indiff: which im sure is semi-natural

as for hatchbacks im gonna go black and white here.

hatchback: an automobile the back of which consists of a hatch that opens upward; also : the back itself

hatch: a small door or opening

if you feel it fits go ahead and use it, i wont fuss about it but i can't/won't speek for the rest of them

So hard to decide....the Subaru Legacy Wagon is (IMO) the best for drifting.

Honorable Mentions...




Alot of my pictures seemed to come out dark this time,even with the exposure cranked.I should have used a bright-colored car :-/.



Oh an here are some good Drifting Hatches,if you need some:

Subaru Legacy Wagon (Exmaple in pictures)
Honda Civic Type-R (soup it up GOOD and use Economy tires)
Focus ST170 SUCKS.Don't use it.
 
yeha there are a good couple of hatch backs in the game

thats pretty sweet because the smoke gets taller as it goes back:tup:. awesome.

by the way, can we specify hatchback,
does the back have to be nearly up and down or could i use the '96 nissan 240sx, or the '71 nissan 240zg, or a '95 mitsubishi eclipse?

it is a hatchback right? see my other post for my question and other examples of cars that could be hatchbacks depending on how you interpret the rules. i am wondering.
 
the photos so far are super :)

one thing i'd like to pint out though, there's a diffrence between a hatchback and a fastback...imo. but its not that big of a deal, have fun :dopey:

but if you really look there are some interesting hatchbacks in the game

the requirements say you must be in a hatchback. the new gto is not a hatchback. its also not a fastback, you can even tell it has a trunk in your final entry.
