1 Series One Make Race, a lightly tuned 120i will win it with ease, go go go!

Seriously, this car is the most fun to drift FR car I've ever gotten to toss sideways smoking tires through corner after corner after corner.

Silvias, Hachi-Rokus, RX-7s, none of them are such a joy to toss around...

Plus its so cool in black, like drifting in a tuxedo.

N2 Tires Front/Rear
No Aids
No other modifications necessary.

Interests include long smoky drifts around wide hairpins (Grand Valley, Trial Mountain, Deep Forest) and Feint into Lift Throttle oversteer.

I'll have to give it another go. When I'd won it, I took it for a slide around Tsukuba and wasn't impressed, I got too much understeer out of it. But now I am auditioning for my FR Best Drift Car table, perhaps I should give it another go now that I've had more practice.

I totally agree. The soft setup it has is perfect for the Nürburgring. Plus, do a couple Nurb laps in the 2002 and then hop into an M3. It's funny how much better you drive the M3 afterwards.

How many tries did it take to get the black one? The first one I got was in that ugly green…

Where can you win it? I thought the 120i could be bought in store... 💡

Buy a 120i, do the 1 Series 1 make.

I got a Black one on my first try, and Silver on my second.

Left the black one stock (drifting it on N2's) and tuned the Silver one into my "Silver Bullet" though I still think its more fun stock.

The suspension is alright... but a little bit more power is always welcome.

Yeah, but I really don't think it suffers from not having the power.

It's just that good of a car stock.

I might get a drivetrain upgrade set (clutch, flywheel, driveshaft) and racing exhaust/chip...all things that I can put on and off and see how they change the feel.

lol i did win it yeasterday but it's so ugly green i'm going to buy most ugly wheels too. My bro did told it's perfect car for drifting. I will try get some money to tune it, took some photos and put them in Drift Photo forum.

oh man, if you think the BMW 2002 is great(which it is) try the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65 and the Lancia Stratos(road car or rally car). personally I like sport tires, so I modified all a little bit more to give it a little more umph and responsiveness. sure the Stratos isn't real quick to spin the wheels and kick the rear end out like the 2002, but it is MR so the rear end comes out on it's own and stays out until you put it back. it's relative to taking the Yellow Bird on the Nurburgring with N2's on except it is a little more stable. still tons of fun. I definately reccomend the Lancia Stratos modified a little bit with 280HP and S2's on. oh man, it's a frickin kart. way more satisfying than the Caterham if your car control skills are up to it. thumbs up!!!

rock.

All I can say is, I wouldn't throw the BMW 2002 Turbo for eating crackers in my bed, thats for sure.

Righty. Threw N1 boots on it instead of the N2s it had on the first time around, and tossed it around Autumn Ring. No understeer this time.

It was a lot better than I had found it at Tsukuba, but it feels loose rather than balanced. It also needs a slippy diff, because when the angle gets too large it starts spinning its inside wheel and loses momentum. I prefer the Supra RZ, stock except oil change, which I don't think costs any more than the 120i or 120d needed to win the 2002, and personally I find it much easier to drive sideways. And with my skill, I need easy.... :)

Mmm...I do love the Lancia.

About to get into the Jaguar E-Type from the Nurburgring Diary on Gamefaqs...

Thats another pretty old drift car.

Never really tried the old Alfas though, have to look into them, thanks!

I always wanted to win the 2002 but never got around to it. Then I bought a *dun dun dun* Xbox and have been living on Halo 2 on live.

My PSTwo has said my data is corrupt about 3 times now and I got sick of dealing with it. Soo, it hasnt been touched since the box got into my house.

But, Ill fire it up sometime this week and keep on keepin on.

Well...I found a car that I love even more than the 2002 Turbo for drifting.

Dun dun dun!

The Shelby Cobra.

Take the tail happy nature of a Ruf...

Toss in the power on oversteer of a BMW M3 type car...

Mix with some bouncy springs typical of a late 60s car...

Stir liberally...add some 500 Hp 7 Liter V-8 for seasoning, and smoke the tires til you get the right flavor.

I got Alpine (1600 or something) not the car that was a popular rally car sometimes the other Alpine tune it up to max go to Alpine and enter the Alpine Cup instead of driving for your self let the B-Spec drive look at the drifts it makes!!!

The Turbo 2002 is just a perfect car for the Autumn Ring (Mini) and Costa di Almafi! It's at it's best stock and N2 tyres! You have good taste! But I like mine white though... It's to classic Turbo 2002 colour. Gotta love the big, bad-arse and evil Turbo-lag! ;)

Edit: Still, I love my supercharged Corolla Levin for drifting best... I don't care if it's from Initial D's character Wataru. It's just perfect for drifiting!

Anyways... O=00=O *powerrr* :nervous: (not very original though)
