2 wheels on track at all times
Rumble Strips are part of the track
No wall riding

weight or no weight, i just have to win this race. schedule does not look great after, since will be moving in december and i might get few PS2 time... so, time to win now!
 
We are already on round 5...I just can't believe the crazy pace this thing is going at!! On my side I have alot of confidence that I'll do well in the later rounds this season, the slower tracks with alot of turns should favor my Motul. :)

just hope i can get a good finish, i don´t want to wake any sleeping supras to challenge me in this race...

for now, i can´t say anything, still didn´t ran with the car. but i´ll try to do my best after a poor (according to what i wanted) performance with JGTC cars in the WRS...

at least i´m more ready to motegi when we race there... i find out i suck there...

I second that. My celica is sooo much better on tracks with alot of turns. Lets all hope for the best. 👍
 
This is my absolute favorite track, and I should be able to turn wonders with my new lighter car!!! Can't wait to see how it plays out. 👍
 
i had a quick go at this last night...

hmpf, the time from the pole last year seems a little out of reach i guess...

nice to have something to compare... will make things a bit closer...

i´m less than a second of where i want to be in the end of the qualy... that´s good, not a lot of catching up to do over the weekend...

Maybe this really is the time for the Supras. My car is lighter and faster and I already got a decent time for this one. Now let's see how it behaves in the race.

Tried some other cars and some of them recover well on a dirt incursion, recovering fast. My Supra slides like a bear on ice when touching any dirt. I believe I'll have to give it several tries before geting a good clean race.

i doubt any driver can get within 1 second of my qualy time, with my car

this is one of the hardest combo's ive ever had to drive

should be a major challenge on Super Hards for the race

before a fell a sleep last night (so bad i wasted my night, slept for 14 hours :crazy: with the DS2 in my side...) i was trying the cars... i know you got the worst this time, i´m curious to see what did you get.... and to know if i got to stay 1 second behind or not...

Can't find a thread to explain, but what tires do most you guys use for qualifing? What is the reason for qualification times? Are there points or is it mainly bragging rights.
Sorry for the stupid questions, but this is my first qualifing run here.

Everyone uses Racing Super Softs for qualifying.
The top three qualification times get points. 3 for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd.

Last season, if you didn't qualify, you got a 10 second penalty added to your final race time. I kind of liked that rule, but it doesn't seem to be in effect anymore.


Also...

How are we handling time submission if the PM service isn't restored? Email? Public post?

I have my qual time ready to send.

I believe I could have taken .2 or .3 from my time, but had no extra time for it.
 
Time submitted (well I hope so, I PM'd you viper, and it seemed to work...let me know if you didn't get anything)

Compared to last season's qualy times I think I did pretty well, but the competition seems tough this season, so you never know :nervous:

My time is in. Didn't spend much time in the Celica this week. I found it kind of boring, and I'm not a big fan of Laguna either. I am very sad about run this week. :(

I had a target time early in the week and i got it but i'm still dissapointed with my final time. Hopefully it will be competitive.

I feel the same way. People either love or hate Laguna. I could never figure a couple of turns, especially turn 2.

Oh well , did what I could with the limited motivation I had. Wish I'd have been here last race,I love Deep Forest...reverse!

I'm pissed because with couple more minutes I could of got a pretty decent time. Starting your qualification at the last second is bad mmmmkay. :grumpy:
