Man, some of those are really super, and some really suck. I'm a bit annoyed the sucky ones got in, but it's not my desicion i guess.

Er... that was the only Viper entry.

If people don't like the choices, they're free to remember that if they were to win and had to pick, there's bound to be people who won't like their choices, either. My criteria were clarity, quality, composition and competitiveness.

Voted for the first pic with the two 'Vettes.

But I agree with Jon. Some of them suck. How about all the entries get narrowed down to 10 instead of 20, and there's 4 honorable mentions? I mean, seriously. I could take a pic straight from the game directly to the competition, without even editing it, and there's a fair chance I'd get in. Sure I wouldn't get any votes, but I'd still get in.

Duck, are you implying that a pic without editing isn't as good as one that has been touched up? If the base is good enough, sometimes touching up isn't needed. Look at the Rally Comp, there's some really good entries in there and there's absolutely no editing allowed. Not only that, but there are some people who either a) don't have a suitable editing program, or b) just don't understand them.

And some of the busiest weeks have had upwards of 60 shots entered. You can't tell me you'd have an easy time cutting the entries down to 10. When I picked the top 20 Blue Cars, I had a list of 30 that I slowly wittled down.

No, I'm not implying anything, I think a great untouched shot is more impressive than a great PSed shot. But some of them look out of place. I haven't chose a top 20 or 10 or anything like that, so I reckon it's hard. Ah whatever. Just voicing what I'm thinking.

No need to apologize. I picked the shot I did, because the angle was one that wasn't really submitted in this comp already. I had a tough time deciding which of my shots to enter, and I regret nothing.
