unable to use message formating features - resolved

Since the update I am unable to use any of the message formatting options that appear in when making a new post or an advanced reply. This affects everything above the reply box such as size & colour tags etc, and even the smilies. Simply, the mouse cursor does not turn into a finger when moved over the relevant icons.

My system is winxp pro and I am using firefox 1.5. I do have java script enabled and allowed for gtplanet.net and sitemeter.com. Is there something else I'm missing?
 
thanks for the quick reply. It is set to the standard editor, I will now switch between the others to see if that makes a difference.
 
After switching to enhanced mode it worked, and stayed working after switching back to standard. Curious. I can only assume that java at my end was not accepting one of the scripts, despite it being set to do so.
 
Yes, that is strange. Glad you got it sorted out! :)
 
I think it is/was a problem with the version of NosScript extention to Firefox I am running, it didn't accept the inclusion of the script from sitemeter.com until after a restart. So the good news is that it was nothing to do with the new site! :) (which is very nice I might add)
