Drift Photo Competition - Week 38 - POLL - Voting open

Car Type:: ANY Japenese Car (No Lexus etc - Only Manufactuers which are found within the Japanese hall or listed as JPN in the garage)

Track:: ANY

Theme - (If Given):: SPEED DRIFTING - Try to make your cars look like the are drifting at speed

I'm not sure if I'm being a bit too picky but personally I'm not particularly impressed with most of this weeks entries. As good as some of the shots are (some nice 'artistic' shots) many are let down by being either...
A: too dark (increase the exposure chaps, I found it's the only way to lighten them unless someone else has an alternative suggestion)
or B: not particularly 'speedy' looking as defined by the theme

All in all, disappointing, really 👎

OI Scumbag, my photo is loverly!! but i do see what your sayin. I think people's perception of what speed looks like is the key though, does a blurry photo mean its speedy looking? or maybe a car with a lot of tyre smoke behind it? I think this was a challenging week actually and the entrants have done pretty well to produce what they have.

And, yes, your pic is 'loverly' but I wouldn't say that it gives a real impression of speed. I know peoples interpretations may vary (which is not necessarily a bad thing, obviously) and I'm not saying the pictures are (edit) NOT necessarily bad shots, its just that I don't think very many fulfill the requirements.

I'm glad you added the caveat 'like the rest of us' as I doubt many here can be considered normal And I don't mean that in a bad way cos it includes me and I'm proud of it hee hee

I'm not too keen on those wheels and that rear wing (I'm a big fuddy duddy) but whoever entered the RX-8 did a stellar job with the photo. Got my vote. 👍
