Light-Weight Ring Competition
Its slow, long, and fun !!!

History

The Light-Weight Ring Competition is a competition I started with my friends so we could have fun with GT4. I needed to adapt it so you guys could play it interactivly.

What is it
The L-WRC is explained to be a weekly lap-time competition where the participants have to have the fastest lap, without the use of cheat and without the use of nitrous. The participants will need to follow the rules provided by the manager that will supervise the event.

Cars and Mods
As you read the name of the competition, its called the Light-Weight Ring Competition. To participate the challenge, you will need to buy a light-weight car (under 1000kg when *STOCK*). Light-weight cars does not include the Polyphony F1 or any other special cars that weights under 1000Kg. After the buy you will be able to put whatever parts you want (except nitrous) and tune it however you want. You and your ride will then enter the Ring (Nurburgring) in a race for the fastest lap.

Rules
  • 1- Only cars under 1000KG when *stock* will be eligible. If your car doesnt meet this rule, you will be eliminated.
  • 2- Nitrous is an illegal part. If you get caught, you will be automatically busted and you will be jailed. (ELIMINATION)
  • 3- You agree to not use any form of cheating WHATSOEVER (rolling on the grass, use of walls, gameshark, hybrid, nitrous, etc...)
  • 4- Do not argue on anything you will find unjustified (elimination, rectification, winner, etc...), its just useless...
  • 5- If you step into the competition more than 1 week, you cannot use the same car and same results as previous weeks.
How to play
Following all steps desbribed above, you will now need to post your results. What I want, is that every player that gets in the contest, need to send their results and modification list (settings, parts) in a PM with a specific title.

Specific Title: L-WRC Week #

ADDITION TO THE COMPETITION

- The competition will run 5 weeks per cycle. 4 weeks that will be open for everybody and the fifth week as the "Battle Of Winners" (the winners of the past 4 weeks) will square off to determine the Champion !!!

Thank you,
And GOOD LUCK !!!

I like the concept, I think I might particapate. Just to let you know, the polyphony F1 and a few racing cars are well below the 1000kg limit. Are they still welcome?

Dang I didnt really thought about those. I would say no because the concept was made from little cars like Honda Beat and cars like that. Thanks for letting me know lol

What about the Caterham? Can we use that too? Actually, if someone were to enter a Honda Beat, I think they'd get raped by all the sports cars under 1000kg like the Elise etc.

Well, it sounds like a flop to me at the moment... lol
That sucks I was really interested in joining too.

Geez, man... give it some time. You should give at least a week for people to find this post and sign up.

I'm interested in your idea, though I don't know if I'll be able to participate. I have some questions, though:

1. Is there any power or Power/Weight ratio limit for tuning?
2. Tire restrictions?
3. Age limit for cars?
4. Are you excluding all specially prepared race/touring/tuner cars?

Good luck with the series.
