What do you listen to whilst drivin?

Don't know about you but i thought most of the tunes this time round were pretty tame. after about a week the bgm was switched off and Rage Against The Machine took it's place. That's more like it!!!:bowdown: What tunes do you listen to to get you drivin hardcore???
 
i was about to make a thread like this but i thought it might have been shunned by all the
"i dont need music, the only thing i need is the sound of the car engine":scared:
which i agree with everynow and again

anyway yes you got to love a bit of **** The Police while driving around full speed in a mustang or lets say a erm.... civic for any of you rudeboys out there:crazy:

any way driving music... got to be a bit of trivium or avenged sevenfold.
but then again i can go the other way and listen to techno or somthing:sly:
 
When I'm "drivin" I listen to the ambient noises from my home usually the missues asking me to turn the volume down or make her a cup of coffee. I don't listen to music during the races, I just got bored of the few semi-decent tunes in the game and I'm not one for having the stero on in the background, if it was all connected to the same speaker system maybe I would though.

i hope the ps3 will have the same idea of being able to upload your own music to it so u can select it in the games

Hasn't there already been a GT4 Music thread? Or was that more specifically about the good/bad songs in GT4's selection.....

Anyway, when I'm playing a racing game, whether it's GT4, EPR, LFS, or something else, I often listen to Digitally Imported.
 
I used to pop a bunch of CDs in the changer, but since GT4, I just listen to the ambient sounds of the game.

I make an exception for the endurance and other long races, and used the CD player.
 
I just listen to the sound of the car and its tires pleading with the pavement for traction. If i'm going to be playing it for a while, then I might pop in some Tool, Deftones or play random MP3's from my computer. If its a really long race, I just put it on split screen and pop in a DVD to watch while B-Spec boy races his heart out.

GTA:LCS has this thing called "rockstart custom tracks" which enables you to upload you music insted of listening to "doubble cleff FM"
 
I've turned of the BGM and either just go with the engine sound, or I turn on some internet radio on my computer behind me. If I'm good mood, I set on some Bob Marley :P .. Weird as it might sound, it is actually pretty nice..
 
I usually just listen to the in game music. Its not that bad. And there are some good songs, like "Born Too Slow". I've also had funny moments with the music like when I was in an Opera S2000 racing in Opera Paris and that Opera-esque song came on :D
