Anyone played the demo of this game from the Marketplace yet?

It's very similar to the Dynasty Warriors series, which is either a love or hate game because of its repetitiveness. To me though, this is a very, very good game. I've always liked this type of game - and this makes it better in every way. There can be 100s and 100s of warriors on screen at once, with pretty good graphics. Gameplay is familar, with all the combos and buttons being almost identical. I found it pretty hard though, dieing over 15 times before I even finished the demo - now I can finish it all the time.

The only thing I find annoying is that the camera is completely manually controled. This can become pretty annoying in heavy situations. Hopefully the full game has an option to change this.

Overall, 8.5 so far. :)

My new game topic have closed.

I've been able to play a bit more. The game class pretty much like The Bouncer(Squaresoft) on the Playstation. It got very cool stuff, but the content is kinda short. N3 is one of the shortest game you can get on the XBOX 360, due that there's no online play. If you want the cute girl with the boobs & a sword in your shelve, I recommend the purchase.(That's the best explanation why to buy the game)

Edit:
Grammar & search. :ouch:

Dead or Alive 4? :D

As mentioned in the other thread, I've not decided against this, especially for the lack of content you get for the price. I purchased Dynasty Warriors 5 instead as it has more content. Yes, there's no online-play and graphics are on-par with the PS2, but it's cheaper and more fun. :)

I already have DOA4.(By the way, I don't have Rumble Rose. I'm not a fan of wrestling.)

I made a small video of the tutorial in the game. enjoy!

I was thinking of renting a game like this since I like this king of hack and slash gaming. Gauntlet Dark Legacy is still one of my favorite hack and slash games. I could try out the demo first.

I payed the Demo and was underwhelmed. I got tired of the button mashing. I cant see the joy in the game, not graphics not gameplay.

IGN score 5.6

Do you know why it sold very well in Japan?

The weapon art is Korean. It's very fun to watch your character swing the sword & slash the enemies(1K + enemies) around. This game is a must for those who like martial art & such somehow. Also the story feel Korean too.

N3 deserve more than 5.6 & most people who tried the games know that.

Games like this require a specific taste. Yes, it got 5.6 on IGN and low ratings like this elsewhere, but them and many other review websites base it on a general opinion comparing it with what games offer today. More than likely you will not like a game like this because it's repetitive, has a poor story and requires pure button bashing. For the rest of us it's quite satisfying as you're killing many, many opponents and leveling up your character, with the added bonus of the Korean-Style art that the Japanese like. I'm one who likes a game like this, the Dynasty Warriors series in particular - it's just this particular game doesn't have enough content for me to buy.

For $60 or for a $7 rental. I could mash buttons all day for $7 but not for $60. I like dungeon crawlers and websites always give them low reviews so I can see where you are coming from. I just dont like it.

Can you in your opinion tell me whats good about N3? I've only played the demo and both Gamespot and IGN gave it 5's and expressed the games flaws.

You play & you want to know more about the character. So far I'm really enjoying the game.

OK, so far I've finished with Inphyy. So far they won't show the full ending as long as I do do all the character. The last mission with her is harder & longer than the demo. It can be frustrating for the player when you get killed by the last boss after 30min of playing during the stage.

I guess N3 feel very close to the level of fun when you play a PS2 game. The command are simple & you have a good control over your character. When you block, the cam is a bit annoying cause it's like the button to center the front view of your character.

There's so much character on screen that you have trouble to find your enemies on screen so you can move foward without hesiting.

Each character move very differently.

Gametrailers did a great overall review of the game. If you like the gameplay as the review play, get the game. The content of the game is poor, but the feel of the game is very good.

I am really thinking about renting this mabey this weekend or sometime soon. I am a little nervous about the lack of saving though. Sounds like you have to make it through the entire level or you have to start all over. Save systems like that really frustrate me but I think I will rent it anyway. I am hearing quite a bit of good feedback for Ninety Nine nights. Mabey I can get some extra achievemnts too. :sly:

I beat it with all the characters, I liked the game but at times I did get bored. Great rental.

Finally rented this. Heather played it on and off over the weekend. If you die you have to start all over. :scared: She sais she likes it but it can be frustrating at times doing an entire level all over again. She is going to try and beat it with all the characters.

Ninety Nine Night is really fun. Though you won't go play it until the end. For certain person it worth a buy & for some it worth a rent.

I have recorded some super long gameplay.

The stage after the demo one with Aspharr, 13min gameplay.

Tyurru first stage 25min long gameplay

To end the stage with Tyurru, you have to protect the center of the city from the enemies.

>_>
<_<

I have let enter 2 party of enemies inside the city. I did a really bad gameplay with Tyurru.

We made the decision last night that we want to buy this game. Its longer than we can beat in a rental so if we buy it we can take our time and both of us can play the game and get all the achievements. 👍

Yeah, to get all the achievement from that game is long. The review about this game is pretty much wrong. The environment in Ninety Nine Night us really hard to find in other game, making that game kinda unsique in it genre.

I bought this thursday after work. I believe Heather beat the game with each character. Now she needs to go back and make sure she gets an "A" rating on each level. She also needs to make sure each character is at level 9. After that she should have all the achievements. I will also play this game eventually since we own it.

My girlfriend has had this game since October I never tried it out. It looked fun but I got consumed with other games and never gave it a chance. Until last night. I have always liked hack and slash button mashing games and this is the exact same thing. (Gauntlet Dark Legacy was one of my favorite games. Played through it beginning to end with friends over 10 times)

I couldnt believe how many enemies could be on the screen at the same time with no drop in frame rate. I was shocked on level 4 with Inphyy when it seemed like hundreds and hundreds to maybe thousands of enemies poured onto the screen. I had a hit combo over 2,200!!!! I sure hope the rest of the game is as exciting as that level. I got to I believe the 5th level and got killed on the last guy. I think it was the last guy. Currently Inphyy is at level 4 or 5.

The only thing I noticed was that the draw distance seems very short and the backround is blurry at times. I assume this is to allow all the enemies on the screen at once. I am on a very good HDTV so its definetly not that.
