Hi, i'm pretty new here:nervous: , and when i try to download a GT4 movie it says "You cannot link directly to this download" Please help :guilty:

Hmm.. Ok but how to watch it ? :P (BTW Why does the icon "download now" Even exist there then ? =/ *sry for my bad english =(

Are you logged in to the forums with the "remember me" box ticked?

Simply click the "download now" video and it will buffer, then play.

The "Download Now" text remains, because Jordan has not updated that piece of text. With the size of GTP, and the extent or the forum, little pieces tend to stay just that.

No problem on the English.

No, i have not the "remember me" box ticked. but that shouldn't be the the problem right ? I will test that to =)

Yeah, but when i click download now, the text is coming up "You cannot link directly to this download" ..

That is odd, as you should be able to click and activate it without a problem. Does this happen with every video, or only a select few?

Which browser are you using? Have you got it set to automatically download, rather than give you a choice?

I use explorer (if that's what u mean) Should i use Mozilla firefox/Opera instead ? .. It's giving me a choice. But as one of the admin's sayed, that we can't download movie's any more. Just watch them (if I get that correct) *Sry again for my bad english.. :guilty:

When I click "downlaod now" it gices me the choice of opening it, or saving it, and both work for me. I am using Firefox.

You may have your security settings or some other type of "privacy" software running which is blocking GTPlanet's Forum cookies from being read by our download software. Are you using Firefox's default settings, or is there any software on your computer that you are aware of?

Hmm.. Good points, I'll try modify the settings. And maybe shut down my antivirus/firewall & see what happens..

I'm glad it worked for you, just be sure that you re-enable your firewall as soon as you get the videos that you want. :)
