I'm not big on shows myself but as I had never seen an Enzo in person, I had to go. Glad I went, too, as I had never seen a 599 GTB or 288 GTO in person either - and probably will never see another shot of the latter, which was never legalized for road use in the States.

The monster Ferraris are all owned by the owner of Ferrari of Atlanta, who never drives the vehicles, preferring to keep them all in a garage, covered. The 288 GTO has 85 miles on it, and the Enzo has less than 200. I asked the FoA rep why the owner didn't like to drive them and he replied that it's not that he doesn't like to, just that he enjoys having pristine examples. I think it's crazy.

so basically the owners just a show off with a bunch of trailer queen ferraris :p cars are for driving!
nice pics love the lambo :D

Aah, that's why I like what the owner of my local Ferrari dealer does - beats the **** out of his cars. He also owns a track not too far from here, one of the classiest ones in North America (www.circuitmonttremblant.com), and participates in the FXX program, vintage Ferrari race series etc etc.

Three--count 'em--Buick Reatta's? In a row?

I wish I was there. :)

Not just Reattas - Reatta convertibles! The last time I saw one of those was in a field in eastern Colorado:

Note that also included in that photo is a Northstar Allante and a Chrysler TC. That was some field.

Good photos Doug. Especially the 288 GTO - What a car! I mourn the fact that the guy doesn't drive them though - What a waste! In fact the more I think about that fact, the more it saddens me...

Agreed - but he does frequently display the cars for all to see, and without him I'd probably never see a 288 GTO. So I'm grateful.

... My aunt used to have a Chrysler TC....

I really want a Honda Beat as my first car... anyone have any info or prices on importing one?
