Quick guide to replay checking:
  1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Racing - Hard and that the power is 160 hp
  2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
  3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
  4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
  5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle

Anyone know of any cheaper alternatives? I don't really have £15 to spend so frivolously :guilty:

Sorry WrS'ers iv just woke up to find i missed the dead line for this one:(. I got home from work at GMT 3pm today, turned on the pc and fell asleep and i was gonna do one more run. Anyway i got a 2'00.493.

Well done to Superwally, Jake and JJ74...GT.King on there great wins and i think this proves you are a Div one driver now Jake ;)

I'd like to thank Mr. P's employer for keeping him too busy to run many laps and Holl01's dirty PS2/scratched GT4 disc for not allowing him to load this track this week. That left the door open for a rare win, thanks. :sly:

I think there is a sub 1:09 lap lurking in this combo somewhere, I didn't have the skills to pull it off.

Great week, had fun battling CMir's splits, you have this stuff down, and only just beginning your WRS career!

Good work by everyone and Jake, welcome to D1!

Wow :eek: some super times this week. Congrats to superwally for a d1 win :cheers: and JJ74 for the win 👍 a special congrats to Jake for another very nice d2 win and the promo, nice going mate 👍 Give em hell up there....

Well, I did run 2 short sessions and sad to say a 2'02.9 was all I could muster, never got into it for some reason although it was a fun combo, thanks for the race sjaak, and Niels you would have nailed me no mater how hard I had tried this week ;)
 
Jeepers guys. Jeepers. That's about all I can squeeze out of my mouth after seen what you all squeezed out of this thing. The T times were absolutely stunning. I could see a possible under 2 minutes, but dayum.

Tried to view Jake's replay but the memory card seems a bit screwey - it's telling me I already have a copy of it. I'm a bit reluctant to delete anything and try again before I submit mine...so once the attached file has been checked I'll delete all replays and try gain.

Damn!! Forgot to submit this week :S Realised it in the middle of band practice... Too much on my mind I suppose...

Oh well, for what it's worth, I got a 2'02.512 or something like that.

I take it we can rename these .max files?

Anyway, these Max Drive things are pretty good.. But why oh why did Datel choose to use those mini-CDs!? They produce Disc Read errors on my unit most of the time, and if you try and use one while your PS2 is standing up it will fall out of the tray.. Rubbish.. :rolleyes:

Anyway, ghost save is hopefully attached..

Cmir, Sjaak68 and Snod Blatter. All clean and with the right specs and times. 👍

@Cmir. Nice, smooth and very fast racing. 👍 Very close on the bridge, but 100% clean. Must have taken some good nerves. :nervous:

@Sjaak. As always smooth racing and clean with a good margin. 👍 Love to check these replays you only have to watch once. :dopey:

@Snod Blatter. Nice racing. 👍 Noticed you had a couple of strange gear changes/change errors. Without them you might very well have ended on the podium. :scared:

Not sure if I can say this in the WRS forum, but... That's the automatic mode doing it's magic!

I guess I'll have to learn to handle manual...

I changed a couple of years ago after my first 20 weeks or so in the WRS. 👍 And still racing with kiddy-view btw :O
 
Jake, that is a nice lap, clean as a whistle 👍 in case anyone is interested, he found the sweet spots in the hairpin and the last roundy.

2078TM is clean 👍

I switched to manual just a month back, it does make a difference in the time you can do! What is the kiddy-view? May be I am still using that :p
