Hello, GTP.
This is going to be my 326th post, and since the past 324, you know I love the Le Mans enduro more than any other race in the world. Polyphony Digital deserves extreme credit for enduring through getting car after car, track after track, feature after feature, GT4 should be sensational when released. It should be one of the newer classics. It should be as popular as Super Mario Sunshine, even though Super Mario Bros. 3 is possibly the greatest Mario game ever.
Le Mans, France is home to the greatest of all races, the Le Mans 24 Hour race. It combines the Bugatti circuit with the public roads of Le Mans. You have the Mulsanne straight, Indianapolis, Arnage, Tetre Rouge (did I spell correctly?), Maison Blanche, the Porsche Curves, and even the Ford Chicane. Some of the most beautiful, purpose-built GT race cars and race prototypes compete in this event. If Gran Turismo provides Le Mans, would you want the Bugatti circuit, or the Circuit de la Sarthe?
I'll start.
Either way, I'd be happy to have either variation. The Bugatti Circuit, however, doesn't have the pizzazz Le Mans can provide, but keep in mind that about 1/3 of Bugatti is used for the 8-mile/13.6 kilometer Le Mans course. Personally, I want to zoom down the Mulsanne straight (but remember to brake for the two chicanes). However, if you can't have Le Mans, you might have a shot at Bugatti. Bugatti is pretty technical. There is some high speed involved here, but be sure to have some cornering ability to boot. If Bugatti makes it, it's still Le Mans, only you're using the road course and not the road course + public roads.
If you notice, this is a poll question. You can choose between Bugatti, Le Mans, both, or unsure. Alright? So give it a try, GTPlanet!
