That's right, XFEL is now dipping it's toes into cat and mouse, looking to expand its fun times!

ABOUT
XFEL is an endurance league that strives to have the most fun possible! We occasionally plan game nights where all we do is play games. During one of those such nights, we realized that cat & mouse was such a fun game and that it would be a great idea to form a league and compete against other drivers. So, that is what I am doing here.
OBJECTIVE
In case you are unfamiliar to cat & mouse, the game is very simple.
1) each team assigns one person to be in a slow car such as a 2CV or Copen (mouse)THESE RACES WILL TAKE PLACE EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT AT 9PM EASTERN

2) the rest of the team members choose fast cars like the R8 or GT-R (cats)
3) each team tries to push their mouse to 1st place while also trying to slow down the other teams mice.
4) whichever mouse crosses the finish line first, that team wins!
OUR SETUP
As I'm sure we all know, there can only be a max of 16 people in a room so space will come on a first come, first serve basis meaning the first 16 people to sign up will have first dibs in the room. After the first week of cat & mouse, space will be awarded based on points meaning the top 16 in points will be guaranteed a spot in the room.
TEAMS
To determine teams, I will put the names of all those who will be attending in a bowl and pick at random. You must say you plan on attending by 8PM on race day or you will not be allowed to participate
There will be no more than 4 teams (red, blue, green, and black) and each team will consist of three cats and one mouse. The team you are put on, you will stay with for the first 4 races. Then we will remake the teams for the final 4 races.
POINTS
Each week we will do 8 races, each lasting around 10 minutes.
Team finish/points
1st-6
2nd-4
3rd-2
4th-1
*10 extra points will be awarded to anyone that pits another driver
RULES
1) A team will need a different mouse each race meaning every person on that team will have a chance to be mouse with one person doing it twice
2) You may hit any car on the track except for the mouse in last place
3) If you are pitted at any moment during the race you must back out of the race, this includes the mouse as well
4) no going backwards on the track
RACES
To make it more interesting, we will be mixing up the cars allowed to be used each week. For example, for the first 4 races, we could use mustangs as the fast cars set at a certain pp and Ka's as the slow car at a certain pp. Then for the second 4 races, we could use gallardos and samba buses. It will all be up to whoever's turn it is to select the cars used, which will be rotated between members in the league. This way, the cars never get old!
