My Car-Show pic for the week. Happy Easter from Easter Island.

SHARE_20260405_0423590.webp

We have a family dinner tonight but I like my chances of being home in time for the races. Might be full of turkey and wine though.

My status for tonight = Probable.

So if my cars aren’t at the max PP rating is there any mods I’m allowed to put on? For example my focus RS is at 519 right now but max is 524 according to the picture above.
Check if you got the right tire on it.
In the fact, the picture above tell all the original spec of the cars, with the right tires (according to our tire formula) and all the OEM parts of the car as original it is brand new.

And to answer your question, no. In any circumstance any other part can be installed on the cars. It precisely the purpose of the Spec Sunday Series to be a Spec series.

@daddylaw5. Check also every parts in the customized section, like spoilers, side skirts or wheels. These parts will modify your PP also. Make sure all of these are original.

@daddylaw5 , Please see below;

Definition of Tuning Prohibited

Tuning Prohibited in SNAIL means that you are not allowed to do anything to the car that changes it's performance in any way, shape, or form.

Below is a list of what you are required, and allowed, to change:
  • Required;
    1. Install tires according to the SNAIL Tire Specification Table.
  • Allowed;
    1. Install Custom Wheels - Must retain stock size, width and offset.
      • BoP will not compensate for any PP changes adjustments to size, width and offset affect and may prevent you from entering a PP limited lobby.
    2. Change the appearance of the car using the livery editor.
      • While BoP will negate settings of most, if not all, installed custom parts, the [Spec] part of SNAIL Sunday demands all cars function, and appear, identical, with the exception of paint jobs and wheels.
      • It has been noted, custom liveries, applied from community resources, may install custom parts that will prevent your car from adhering to SNAIL regulations.
        • It is the driver's responsibility to remove those parts and, at all times (during Sunday race night and practice sessions for), ensure their car will meet the [Spec] standard.
    3. Maintenance items, i.e. oil change, chassis restore, engine restore, can be performed, as they only return the car to original spec.
You may not adjust any other settings or replace/upgrade any other part of the car. If what you are thinking about installing to your car is not in the above list, don't do it. Only the items listed above are allowed under SNAIL [Spec] Racing rules.

The penalty for non-compliance with the above rules is disqualification and removal of all points accrued for both races with that car.

Warm-up lobby open.

@daddylaw5 make sure you send me a friend request in PSN (Ridger23). You'll find the lobby easilly. You may also send a request to RacingChamp30 who usually host D2 official lobby.

Good racing tonight, boys!
I haven't practiced for a few weeks so was trying to pick up some scraps, which came my way early in the night :) Later on it balanced out I feel like!

Lately have been super busy with life and getting ready to welcome my first born to this world sometime in May. I'm going to try being here and completing whole month of April. Keep me honest!

As my life may change with RL racing due to baby I may have to live racing though my past experiences....we'll see haha. Hope not!

In any case, I did manage to work on some of my videos from last year. Finally posted the autocross one, so I'll share with you below. Please enjoy!
Also, hoping I'll finish the VIR track day from last August as well. Be on the lookout within next month also :). Cheers and have a great week!

D1 replays shared.

Scores will be copied to data when D2's get entered.

I’m doing D2 scores and data now. Which one of you is AMGfello? Also I haven’t heard back from anyone if D2 held a vote for least favorite combo last night. Please vote here, for any combo that you raced in, and would like to see gone. We need these before 8 PM tonight. Thanks.

  6. Mac1032763 -------- voted to eliminate Round 1

  8. Skills_19657 ------ did not submit a vote
The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Ford Focus RS '18 (SH) at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca - S01 Early Morning (9 laps)
Therefore, the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. @Nicktune wins Prize A, and gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 Shifter (SS) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - Center Reverse - S01 Sunset (18 laps)
This means either the car or track will be replaced for next week's line-up. @arethosetacos is the Prize B winner and they have the option to freeze the car or the track, or they can give that option to the Prize C winner. If they give the freeze away, they get to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @bublyman - they get whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it's confirmed you don't have any penalties.
  • It is recommended you visit SNAIL combo history, along with other data on our car and track history, to review how many times we've raced each car and/or track.
  • Please remember, originality is always appreciated. Although not required, picking cars and tracks we've never raced is a plus.
  • What's more important is, you thoroughly test any combo you are considering, before making it your official selection.
    • For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter, either hard1 or soft2, at any point during a race, even in the draft.

IMPORTANT:
  • When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting.
    • For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98".
    • If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza".
    • Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers.
  • Please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select.
  • For track selections, include the Preset Weather and the Time of the Day (e.g.: S01 Afternoon) or it will be set to default.
    • Available settings can be found under Time/Weather Settings, when creating an online Lobby, after selecting your track.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

Track Selection Guidelines
See Section 3.1 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines
.

1Hitting the "hard" limit causes the RPMs to "bounce" and reduces torque and speed.
2Hitting the "soft" limit ceases all acceleration potential. Meaning, you're not going to go any faster.
