Tuesday TT races is on tonight! We stay at Spa but with a Gr.4 car for the new one of the week. The Aston DB11 on Interlagos is making their second presence for the second one.

I post the reminder right now because I’m gonna be a little short this evening with the return from work later than usual, dinner and home chores. Don’t panic if you don’t see me open the lobby at 7:45pm East as usual, I’ll open it as soon as I can (maybe just a couple of minutes late). See you tonight!

@JamCar0ne Prize A:

Renault R.S.01 '16
701.59 PP, 542 HP, 2522 lbs, SM tires

Autodromo de Interlagos
S02, Late Morning, MDLT 1:36.700

Another brand new car never used in Snail. This was a race car developed by Renault in their Renault Sport Trophy running in Europe, almost as fast as a DTM. Only 35 cars were produced. One of them recently climbed the legendary Pikes Peak, finishing third in its category.

We have a non-responsive prize winner this week for Prize C. The car has been frozen (Honda Civic SIR-II (EG) '93), however it is unlikely it would be available for this Sunday's racing. The backup car is the Suzuki Swift Sport Gr4. If you raced in D2 this last weekend, you may suggest a track for Prize C. Your suggestion must be made in this thread. Only 1 suggestion per person, and your post cannot be edited. Suggestion process ends tonight at 11:59pm EST.

This thing on SM tires is …. Interesting

You’re totally right. It deserves to be on racing hard, it is a race car after all. But when you understand to be gentle with the throttle, it’s very drivable.

Yeah. This is one of the outliers with our current Tire Regs. In game it's not classified as a race car, even if it mostly is one, and it's just under the SS starting value. Will definitely be an "interesting" drive.

Suggestion process is closed. If you raced in D1 this last weekend, you may now vote on the following choices:

Alsace test course reverse.

Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa. Weather: S04: Dry, Cloudy and sunny. TOD: Late Morning. My best lap was a 1:45.

Post must be made in this thread and can't be edited. You may only vote once. First vote cast will act as tiebreaker. Voting closes at 6pm EST on Thursday or a majority has been reached.

So, Thursday practice night is on. Stay tuned for the lobby opening post at around 8:15pm East. All three combo run twice in half distance with reverse grid.

The tutoring idea sounds not very popular, but a new unwritten rule can be established: we can discuss in the party chat more openly about the different critical points of each combo or racing basics in general. I still learn a ton of stuff (thanks @Nicktune) just by talking racing. Keep in mind that there are no stupid questions, ever!

Contractor for my renovation is here… I’m sorry but I don’t think I can be there. If someone can do it, do it!

Feels like it's been awhile for me....

My entry to the Car-Show took me to Miami where my beloved French National Team will play for a disappointing bronze medal at the 2026 World Cup in the next hour. We dreamed bigger than this and had higher hopes.

25% chance for Combo 1
50% chance for Combo 2
75% chance for Combo 3

Enjoy your weekend.

🤬 age verification.

That is all.

PSN age verification has rolled out in some countries, despite not being required by law. Soon to be required for all accounts.

From what I just read, it's currently UK adult accounts. WHAT THE EVERLOVING 🤬 are those folks doing over there?

I reckon some lazy parents, who know someone in the UK parliament, got some of their children bullied over the internet and Sony must comply with local laws. Hopefully, this doesn't propagate outside of the UK. I'm certainly not intending to give some third party wankers (Yoti) a picture of my face or ID card. That's a recipe for getting an identity stolen, I don't care how secure they say their 💩 is.

It's an entertainment platform Sony. Shut down your services in those countries that demand this silly 💩 , watch the masses there cry and whine to their gov'ts and when those idiot laws get repealed, you can march back in and reap 💰 again. Or, possibly better yet, for Sony anyway, those accounts in those countries requiring this asinine age verification, can be charged more for the services this data mining bull 💩 is required for. Your revenue stream may not take much of a hit that way and you'll recoup the money you gave to Yoti.

If anyone at Sony happens upon this post, know this, should I ever be prompted to provide my face or ID to access my PSN account's full features, there will be at least 2 (mine and my wife's) PSN subscriptions canceled immediately. You do not get my face, and certainly not my ID card, without paying me an extraordinary amount of money. As in, fill 14,400ft3 / 408m3 with $100 US bills.
