3 years post release...any car under 2 million credits is available to use.
Did that once already. Didn't work out well then.
The problem isn't with long time GT7 and SNAIL members.
The initial layout for a first Sunday of SNAIL racing
could cost up to 8,000,000 with the current car cost cap and eligible car rules. Will it be that much? Doesn't matter how unlikely it will ever be to cost that much. The point is, it
can go that high. That alone is a barrier for new members participation rates and might as well be a paywall for new members who are also new to GT7. We have another wall, forced upon us by the asinine mechanic, aimed at the impatient "whales" out there in the world, limiting participation. It's there and that rule was put in place to make it a cardboard wall instead of the concrete reinforced block wall they appear to have intended it to be.
I for one have every car <= 2million from both asinine dealerships. I say that to illustrate how it's no skin off my back to make the change to allowing any car, at or under the credit cap, eligible, without availability qualification. Here's the thing though, that rule isn't about, or for, me, or you, or all the long time SNAIL and GT7 veterans.
This late in the game they could just leave every car available, all the time, and just adjust the pricing as per whatever fantasy land Hagerty pulls the numbers from. Should have been that way from release. There may still be some of those impatient, dare I say, lazy, whales out there to grab some cash from.
Be that as it may, the eligible UCD and LCD exclusive cars amount to less than 25% of all 474 eligible cars in the roster.
