looking forward to seeing you out there!Hey Bud! I always love racing with the Snail crew … ESPECIALLY when we are racing street cars!
I might consider rejoining in the new year. Until then, I might just pop into practice when the combos suit my preferences.
Hoping you and yours are doing well.
We may need to do some more extensive testing on the stock "Overtake" function of at least this car with the Nitrous set to Cannot be installed. I'm home today, if you have time to open that room back up and we can work it out.Hey all,
I have been testing combos and with the Corvette CX.R VGT, which has an overtake boost that doesn't seem to classify as nitrous. This boost seems to be infinite, and yields a very high rate of boost. I tried to open a lobby using the SNAIL settings that included prohibiting nitrous, but it still allowed the car to enter the track (it was only me, so i couldn't start a race).
The car is on the SNAIL approved car list, so is there something that I'm missing that might disable it during a race?

Well then, I got time to get an old man's Neuron Assessment Program completed.Sounds good. I'm back at work currently, and wont be able to open it until around 6pm or 6:30pm EST
Let me know when you're done the power-cycle and Ill join for the test.Well then, I got time to get an old man's Neuron Assessment Program completed.![]()
Under the current SNAIL Tire Specification, all VGT classed cars get shoed with RH.Let me know when you're done the power-cycle and Ill join for the test.
We need to check the tire specs. DS tires are RS, SNAIL tires listed as RH.
The CX.R VGT's overtake function is not affected by the NItrous setting. It held up for almost an entire lap of SSRX.Hey all,

I have a memory of racing the Dodge SVT at Route X and it had an 'Overtake' option. It's not nitrous, but maybe a battery. I had to map a button onto my wheel and hold it for the entire race. I just tried it and the Corvette CX.R VGT seems to fall into this category.Hey all,

Besides the CX.R, we only tested the SF cars and the Porsche, 911 GT3 RS (992) '22. The SF cars could not get on track unless Nitrous was set to Required or Unrestricted. We also discovered the SF cars do not have the overtake indicator in an online lobby.

You're good to go with the CX.RThanks for testing, guys. It's a shame because the CX.R is a lot of fun to drive.
If the CX. is the car you want, it's eligible and doesn't require any special treatment or settings to function. Thanks for testing, guys. It's a shame because the CX.R is a lot of fun to drive.
