good controllable car, good controllable track it will be nice to race clean with out worrying about the car losing it

I have nothing against the car. In fact I like it. I'm merely pointing out it feels like we had it a few weeks ago.....we have over 1000 cars at the dealerships.... why do they keep on picking the same ones.....

Oh i got that but to suggest that we have ANY driver who can lap ANY track exactly .001 seconds or even .010 ahead of there previous best time is laughable. Especially to that precise a degree! I under stand that i'm new to club but even the absolute best driver in the world could not beat a previous lap ON purpose by exactly .001 And then there are the variables of which divisions time is being used to determine the winner. How many drivers in said division recognize and spend hours to get there exact friends number come on.

I ran the GTP WRS and TT's before SNAIL, they really have their system running very smooth. Just saying.

Because they are good cars and if you take out the duplicates there are less then 600. Then there is the controllable factor so now you might be down to 200. Then there is the time restraint because apparently people have lives out side of this group

Is that a normal part of the Data Specialist? I did not see that mentioned in the tutorial.

The final round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (6 Hrs of Sao Paulo) takes place this Sunday at Interlagos. Qualifying Practice will be run on Saturday. How about using the pole position time to decide the Buttkicker winner?

I know someone suggested the next Formula E race but that is 2 weeks away.

But to suggest that YOUR friends in SNAIL are that underhanded or have THAT much time on there hands to purposely screw over another SNAIL you go right ahead and believe that i refuse too! So far anyone I have either raced solo or in a group has shown me nothing but respect. Most have even tried to help me improve. There seems to be a problem with the PSNID you registered with SNAIL. The invite has failed at least twice now. Just attempted again and got the following message from GT6;

You will, like @Schmiggz and @tezgm99 and several other Snails, need to find that Allow Messages from Non-Friends setting, check the box for it and send a GT6 Community message to SNAIL_SpecRacing so I can verify the spelling and characters in your PSN ID, before an invite can be sent. You cannot join until the invite is sent, the invite cannot be sent until you send the message to the club owner account.

The SNAIL_SpecRacing account does not require Friend Requests for you to join the club and will not be accepting any.

All caps - GOTDIRT410SP (not sure if it's case sensitive, but it certaily came up all caps when I raced on Sunday)

Both of your arguments are moot in any case. The points and picks will not likely get done until sometime NEXT week so the RoC is out and we'll need some other sporting event on the weekend of Dec 6th to work with on determining which number gets picked.

Just tried with the all caps and it gave the same message as the lower case. You need to make sure your GT6 Community Profile is set to accept and send messages to non-friends. :@:Everybody

Yes, actually you did have an invite. The club is set so you can only join if there is an invite pending when you hit the Join Club button. Doesn't matter how you find it and it also doesn't matter whether you are on the owner account's PSN Friend's list. Until that invite is pending, hitting the join button will just produce an error message.

I have nothing against the WSR car either, in fact, I like it a lot but there's definitely one thing I can't understand here. The prize winner invited a bunch of people to try combos and when i joined the room, they was trying the Subaru Viziv and apparently everybody was loving it.
We tried it both in brands hatch and Indy RC and everybody was pretty happy about the car so i basically left the room thinking about painting my colors in one of those beasts and then, suddenly and out of the blue, comes a car we raced 3 weeks ago!!!
But well, hey, that's what he has chosen. I guess we gotta do it.

lol were not arguing about using the RoC no one commented on that one were arguing about using a tt to determine the winner. But Saturdays are the endro there is a weekly event that you could use!

It was tested with as many people that were left which I think was 6.

I'll ignore the insult and get to the point of your post, which is that you still don't get it. Here's an analogy to help explain what I'm trying to say. Let's say a super fast D1 driver sets a TT lap time of 1:29:813. Because of the randomness of the last two digits of his lap time, I've represented it below as a roll of the dice:

Now let's say said super fast D1 driver goes wants to see who would win the ButtKicker if his lap time was the fastest. All he has to do is check the finalists' number picks. For this example, let's use the picks from the last challenge we had. Once he pulls up that list, he sees that @Dragonwhisky would be the winner. However, he thinks to himself, "The stewards gave me a penalty last week and it was total BS!! And Dragonwhisky is the Chief Steward so it's his at least partially his fault! I wouldn't want to help him with the ButtKicker!". So with that, he decides to take another lap so that his lap time doesn't end on any of Dragonwhisky's numbers.

Yes, the rationale above is unlikely and hopefully nobody would ever stoop to that. But the suggestion that it's not possible and that we should allow a prize selection process in which someone can simply roll another dice (i.e. set another time) to impact the outcome is.. unwise.. to say the least. I was going to call it "laughable", but you already used that one.. ​

I get that. And yes you could impact the results, and yes you could go multiple times, and yes you could look it up and see who would win! But that is also where the challenge of having other players on there also comes into play for example: D7 there are 3 or 4 of us who are constantly at the top of the ranks and fast lap usually has come down to phd or lmk so we have now gone from a possible 11 regulars down to 2 fast lappers now expand this to your example of D1.
Assuming that it has the same variables as D7 were there are 2-4 fast lappers then guys who win by constancy and you still have at least 4 people competing to have the time chosen as the winner. But if the rationale is unlikely why worry about the uncontrollable variables of people being mad at another player who is to say that that time stands or even that it would be his division that is the division that is being selected to choose the winner.
