Members who were around GT4/5/6 era will maybe remember that on the race reports sections we would have fan-fiction topics with a lot of good stories to read ( i miss those btw ). So, with that in mind, i thought about doing something similar.

I present ネコ レーシング Works!

We usualy do you're normal maintenance, some tuning here and there. An honest shop you could say.
On our free time we race around the local touge roads or do trackdays.

So this is just a taste of what we usualy work on, but we do work on everything really. A man's gotta eat, right?

So this saturday night i met with a couple of friends and their civics, i went on my DC2 and we had a little honda mini-meet sort of thing.

First thing was stop for some snacks on the way to Daikoku PA since we stayed in the workshop for quite some time tinkering with our cars.

The car park was actualy not that full, maybe people are still scared of the virus thing.

But there's always something to check on the car parl and you can get some good variety everytime you go there

We got to meet this cool guy with a Camaro. That thing sounds hellish! Had a nice talk, drank couple of cans of BOSS coffee and set about to have some fun.
Off we went.

I gotta say, those civics rip!! Got to drive my friend's purple ek9 and loved it.
Gotta get me one of those things!

So.. this morning we made some calls, picked some cash and took off to the country side.
For what? Well, to get a new project car, of course!

And here it is, a beaten up ex one-make race series '97 ek9 civic

Faded paint, battle scarred, mismatched painted parts, but it sounds healthy and goes well.
Now on to the workshop and get some work done while we crack open some Asahi.

Sunday night, nothing to do... Gave a call to some buddys of mine so we could meet, have a chat and some cans of coffee.

- "Sure, lets go! But do you think you can catch my Beetle on the loop? Because i don't think that old piece of junk goes past 160km\h heh"

- "I'll show you what it can do! Loser buys coffee!"

- "Its on!"

- "Not fair! They're trapping me!"

- "That's one fast Beetle, the 🤬 must have a Porsche engine in it!"

- "3 down, 1 more to go... But where is he??!"

- "Is that.. him??"

- "There you are!! Im gonna get you now!"

- "grunts"

B - "WHAT? How??"

- " HA! Suck it!"

- "I'll see you at the parking area, loser!"

The 🤬 didn't show up after that..

This morning we went to Myabi Motorland with our EK9 so we could test tune some suspension settings, we're slowly but surelly getting there.

Evening test with a Lan Evo 4 at Tsukuba today.
This used to be a gentleman's racer back in 1997. Was found on a house's backyard in Yokohama and has since been restored to its former glory.

And, of course, we had to give it a go around Tokyo's loop

How cool does that Roadster look, heh?

So... this happened

The EK9 ex-racer will probably go and i'll stick with the N2 style Levin. On the right it's a customer's Levin who got some work done, regular maintenance and a sports exhaust fitted.

The N2 i just happened to cross by and took it with me. Racing suspension and brakes, rollcage and a sports exhaust manifold and mufler.
Took it to test tune yesterday:
