I have just started to collect 0/0/0 race cars and i have noticed that some vehicles have upgrades, full sets of tyres, exhaust up grades etc but yet they are still 0 switches??? how is this possible?:dunce:

To me this is no longer a 0/0/0 vehicle as some of my cars are running the wrong inlet manifolds and exhausts.

anyone else encountered this?:indiff:

I believe it's a glitch, but I'm not sure how it's done exactly. I've done this on some my DLC cars. Again, I'm not sure how it's done, but I remember reading a thread somewhere here that explained it a few weeks back.

I thought race cars came with "race" parts already on them - why wouldn't they?

I think what you are seeing is normal.

they come with 'sports' parts not race...not to worry i have found another thread which explains it.

Some racing cars in GT5 do come with full spec racing parts already like exhaust, trans, drivetrain, suspension, but to my knowledge(I could be wrong of course) none with a full set of tires or fully upgradeable turbo systems if available.

While looking at a car in your garage, you can tune it without switching into it. This feature was added as a part of an update that allows you to purchase Tuning parts from the Tuning menu in your Garage. You can't buy the permanent mods like engine tune or weight reduction from this menu, but it's a way to buy and add the selectable parts for a 0/0/0 car.

Just go into the menu and recheck the stock parts in the list and you'll be back to original.

It is possible to get into a car tune it fully(permanent mods) and get out and leave it 0/0/0! I have done it with restore tickets!(get in apply ticket get out and still be 0/0/))

So? It's a videogame, you're supposed to drive your cars. I could understand the appeal of zero mile vehicles in real-life, but in a videogame, where there is an unlimited supply of cars, it's completely ridiculous. Oh well, each to their own I suppose.

Yes there are 3 ways this could have happend..... 1. It could be a race/rally car which come stock with a part or 2. 2. In your garge after you select a car there is a option to put minor upgrades on it still leaving car in triple 0 condtion... Aand 3. There is a glitch which allows you to get in the car and go to GTauto to paint it/ put on areo/ rims on, Phototravel to take a pic and fully tune it. But I will not list how to do that glitch...

I have at least 2 cars that I have raced that show wins, mileage, etc., but show '0' switches. One is an Audi, the other a BMW. I will not playing until at least later tonight, but will look for specific model names if anyone is interested. I have "switched" to the Audi twice, and the BMW maybe 3 times. The first time I noticed this discrepancy I switched into, out of, and back into the BMW just to check. It stayed at zero switches. All the other pertinent information shows up.

I do not do car trading or loaning so they have only been driven by me. (If that is relevant)

I believe I gave you an answer...!

I think and I stress think only but don't hit the X button until given the choice of getting into the car or not,I learned this the hard way..:(
